You figure it out.There are between 12-20 million illegal immigrants in America.Most of them came from Mexico & Central America.There are about 40 million total Hispanics in America legal & illegal.

There is no hard data..it all depends who estimating and why. But the INS uses a calculation based on how many they catch and the possibility of the same amount that gets through by 1/2.

Unfortunately some places have laws prohibiting asking for immigration status.
