Illegals sent to war?

At the moment the US government has thought of the same idea. In Mexico, when you turn 18, to receive any government services or financing you must join and enroll into one of their armed forces for a minimum of 2yrs.
Our government is thinking the same thing with immigrants and the illegal aliens. If you are under the age of 30 and in good health and would like to have permanent resident greencard or become a citizen they require you to join one of the American armed forces for 4 yrs active duty not reserves. If you are over the required age and have children from 16 to 18 yrs of age that one or all must at least put in 2 to 4 yrs into service before any family member or whole family can be considered for legal status. I am all for it. It is not a draft but considered a requirement for citizenship if you are not naturally born citizen or illegal immigrant. Those between the age of 30 and 40 must register with the reserves and serve no less that 2 yrs. I am all for them doing that. Si yo hablo espanol tambien y me conosco muchos hispanos en mi ciudad que dicen si van a acepta eso para obtener legal. I am not Latino I am a redneck woman from Kentucky with an education. I do not let languages be a barrier or a reason to blind me to the immigration situation. I say if you want to be here then prove it! Don't build my house or clean my yard protect my country.

I don't think anyone should be forced to go to war- legal or illegal...
it wouldn't work, sure you're saying make them fight for us to legally become US citiznes, but in the end it eleminates, the Elderly, Underage, Unhealthy, and even Homosexuals, they cant join the war because of Army restrictions and rules and it woudnt be fair for only a certain class can have an oppertunity to become a citizen
excellent idea. Especially since serving in a nation's military is almost everywhere considered patriotism enough to be rewarded with citizenship.
I think glitter aka mexicans just explained it. They have no loyalty to America or Americans,all they care about is their own,it goes with what us antis have been saying. They are not here to have a better life,they are here to invade and take for their people,it's the la raza thing. military service is an excellent way to become a citizen, but most illegals are too old or too out of shape for this to be practical.
It would make them worthy of the rights as citizens after defending a country that they so badly want to be a part of.
I guess you aren't aware of this, but that is already an option. My sister went through basic with a few girls who came here illegally as children, and joined the military to gain US citizenship by serving. Anyone who would die for the USA by trying to protect it, should be allowed citizenship. There are some in the military that way, not many... but they do exist.
