I would like to know why anti-Immigrants don't stand up for their right to travel to Cuba from the USA?
???
Answer:
Well, the government is trying to protect us from risk at the hands of the Cuban government. Economic sanctions wouldn't work either, if we went as tourists and dropped a few grand into their coffers. I don't want to go to Cuba, anymore than I want to go to Mexico where I could go. I wouldn't want to go to Iran. I travel where I think I might see or experience something of interest.
As for visitors here, I have no problem. As long they obey our laws while here and don't overstay and become an illegal alien.
I am PRO-IMMIGRATION.
I am ANTI-ILLEGAL ALIEN.
What will it take for you to comprehend that there is a distinct difference between the two?
I think it's stupid that the government would tell us that we can't travel to Cuba. But most people have no interest in going to Cuba, and if they did, it's easy to get there via a third country.
huh??
Why would we need to go to Cuba? Unless you are Cuban there is absolutely no reason to spend any money in Castro's Cuba.
Your question doesn't make a lot of sense, because I don't know anyone who is against IMMIGRANTS...now I know a LOT of people who are against ILLEGAL ALIENS...but that is a whole different species of people trying to come to the USA.
No, not really. Since I LIVE in this country, I'm obviously going to care more about who's coming over here.
There's a difference between visiting and sneeking into a country. And we are not anti-Immigrants we are anti-ill legal immigrants. The bill failed accept it move on.
Why would we want to go to Cuba? We can go to Newark, New Jersey and see the same thing.
I've never met anyone who was anti-immigrant.
To answer your question, anyone wishing to travel to Cuba can easily do so via Mexico or Canada. Have a safe and happy trip.
1. I am not anti-immigrant - I am anti ILLEGAL immigrant. Big difference.
2. The United States takes in MORE immigrants than ALL of the other nations in the world COMBINED! How much more do we have to do to be seen as doing enough?
3. I have NO desire to go to Cuba, and if our country feels that they need to ban travel to the country, then so be it. It isn't like you CAN'T get to the country if you so desire. . .
4. If you despise this nation so much, and the views a majority of its CITIZENS have, then you can always leave it, right?
There are plenty of nice enough places to visit without putting money into a communist country. Jamaica, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and the Caymans for example.
I guess I never particularly wanted to go to Cuba.
Never felt the need to travel to Cuba. Probably never will.
I see no reason to visit a 3rd world communist craphole.
Now please explain what this has to do with immigration...
Who would want to travel to that dump anyhow?
Once Fidel is dead (officially) we will all fall in love with Cuba again. Listen to the 'Buena Vista Social Club' CD produced by Ry Cooder, it's awesome.
Why would I do that.. I have no desire to go to Cuba
You question is full of holes... I live here so of course I am more concerned about who is coming here than where I can go... most US citizens don't really want to go to Cuba, and very few people are "anti-immigrant" but most are "anti-illegal immigrant"
to yahoo stupid...It' Miami you blond door knob...and in reference to the comment, Cuba is band...due to political reason.the same thing going on in Iraq...No ones knows...But they say Cuba is blocked for signing a treaty from way back in JFK days to avoid the missile crises...and the block is against the Castro brothers..until communism and Castro's are at power in Cuba,, the block will remain...or until the Democrats take over...and what does this question have to do with illigals///
Right now I have no interest in going to Cuba. When and if the goverment in Cuba changes,I may like to take a visit there.I have worked in many casinos with Cubans, they are alot of fun...
