I'm a green card holder (US), I just got married and my husband is a US citizen.?

What is the process now for me to become a citizen through our marriage? How long would it take and what applications do I need to file?

Answer:
legal permanent resident in the United States for five years less 90 days before they apply (this requirement is reduced to three years less 90 days if they (a) acquired legal permanent resident status and (b) have been married to and living with a citizen for the past three years.)
Hon, did you marry some one and he's not able to give you this information? SAD!
afaik you don't gain any time advantage. Still gotta be here 5 years and pass the exam like everyone else

.I defer to Sir Banks! oh well, you get it two years faster. Should get something out of being married...
Just keep up with your paperwork, turn it what you need to turn in, and show up when you need to show up.

keep renewing your green card until you can qualify, don't let it expire and not do anything-this will screw you up
First you need to make sure you and your husband actually live together. Next you will need all of his information and go to INS and file for citizenship under married to a citizen. It will take about 2 years for them to check the two of you out. As far as actually living together, paying bills together and being good citizens together.
