The prisons should be built long, so that they can take up as much border space as possible. This would also make it convenient for those illegals that have been detained -- just escort them out the back door and back into Mexico.

We already have 500,000 in prison now for serious crimes like rape, murder, gang related violence etc. etc.
I think locating new prisons along the border makes perfect sense.

Works for me, and leave the doors open on the Mexico side so the prisoners can "escape".

I ;t;hink we should build "detention camps" similar to Maricopa style tent jails to house captured illegal immigrants. Those immigrants should have the right to freely return to Mexico, or to voluntarily stay anc construct our security fence along the border for taxed minimum wage and minimal room and board.

If your premises is false your conclusion will also be false. It is not prison what we want, we need to stop supporting dictators and undemocratic government all over the world. If people treated fairly, equally and get a democratic government, believe nobody like to leave their own country.

Of course not! That would be extremely dangerous. By having the border there escape rates would skyrocket and in addition it could tear down tourism. Or example what if a drug lord ends up getting locked up in a prison there what do you think the cartels will do to get him out? ANYTHING! That is a very reckless and dangerous thought.
