coz their ancestors did, the climate in Europe is cold cold cold, we are very friendly, they like the hospitality, lower taxes, bigger houses with lawns, beautiful scenery, i know they love Southern Florida for sure.
Many reasons. The first ones were looking for wealth and looking to expand empires. My ancestors started coming here in the mid 1600's. They were farmers, I guess they were looking for something new, a new place to start over. Most of them remained farmers and were never wealthy.

Many people from different continents have immigrated to America, including Europeans, for the same reason that many come here illegally. We have the best economic opportunities here. As long as liberals don't pick our pockets with their touchy feely social programs.
Why did this even become a question of race? And yes, if you're Italian or Greek you are still Caucasian (aka white) because you certainly aren't Inuit, of African descent, or Asian. Getting back to the question: Originally, Europeans immigrated for various reasons--to escape religious persecution, to find wealth, to conquer and bring glory to their native country, etc. Expansion is a natural part of curiosity, and territory meant power and wealth to the small territories within Europe. By expanding they could gain control over ocean ports and trade routes as well.
Idiot Europeans didn't emigrate anywhere. Kobainic you better check the Mexican history ... they were worse than any white guy.
