They want to be Mexican with all the economic advantages of being American.

I say let's coopt Mexico as our 51st state, and then make them pay taxes to us. Then we can get cheap real estate and they can give us money to buy it with.

The american continent spans from the tip of port barrow all the way down to the tail of argentina. And: whatup with this conquering biz? As for the immagration issue, since the begining of civilization people have been moving to where the wealth is. A fence or new rules will not change that fact.
The USA did conquer Mexico!! We did it in the Mexican War.
That's how we got New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, and parts of Colorado, Utah, and Texas.

Arizona did not become a state until 1914 because the USA wanted to make sure the English-speaking population outnumbered the Spanish-speaking population before statehood. It took that long for the USA to send enough migrants there.
Did you think that everyone in the Southwest who is Hispanic moved here? Mexicans lived there before the Mexican War, and we compelled them to become Americans by conquering them. Would you like that? Do you think the part of Mexico that we let them keep would like that?

They would be American whether they wanted to or not. If they didn;t like it they could go be "undocumented" in Canada! I was thinking along these lines when answering a different question. Yes indeed. They sure weren't fleeing to America in the 1700s were they? Great question!
