Are pro-amnesty people against border control?

I don't think you can have it both ways. Also, how can people support amnesty when they don't even know HOW MANY ARE HERE??Am I missing something?

Answer:
Most of the Pro-Amnesty supporters see the border as a "vitual wall" already standing in the way of those they profess to support.
The majority of the pro-amnesty supporters dont care about "immigrants" from any nation other than Mexico, they have proven this to my satisfaction time & time again.

They support amnesty out of an obligation to a loved one or a relation, thats how they justify it, with emotion, not facts & logic.
no, you are an intelligent person. It's not about what makes sense are is correct, it is about the agenda of those in power. Most Americans don't want amnesty or open borders.
Your not , but they are !!!
thye cannot seem to make up their minds! the entire 3,500 mile boirder should be closed ,and every one of the illegals kicked back to mexico!! bomb the mexican nation with nukes, i say!!
I am pro and I also support border control. And your right, we don't really know how many illegals are here...But the one's already here, need to be registered and determined whether they should stay or be deported..But first, lets secure the borders and prevent any more from coming...
How will not supporting amnesty tell you how many people are here?
I think you can and have to have to both ways, because immigration is a two fold. You have to deal 1) with people already here (deport or not to deport?) and 2) people who will try to get in (build a wall...what to do?).
I personally think we should have a visa system for people here now, because trying to deport them will just drive them further underground. The current proposal however is just too expensive, and it doesn't address people who would like to come legitimately who are still out of the country.
I support amnesty and I support border control. I want all honest people to have an incentive to use official border crossings. By giving amnesty and allowing Mexicans to come through the border, then we can concentrate on terrorists (which presumably will be the only ones NOT using the official border crossings). Then anyone who uses an unofficial crossing can be shot on sight.
Yes. This doesn't need to be complicated. You make the date of the "amnesty" retroactive. That takes away the incentive for a last minute run for the border. It will already be too late. Anyone applying for permanent residence has to be able to prove that they were here before the law went into effect. If they can't then too bad but it should not be a problem for anyone who has been here for a significant amount of time.
First we need to control our borders. Then we need to enforce our current Immigration Laws. If you are here illegally it's your problem NOT our problem. If the Government decides to overhaul our Immigration Laws it must do so in a responsible manner. It must not penalize those who legally applied for Citizenship and NEVER reward those that came here Illegally at the expense of both the American Taxpayer and those that play by the rules. There is no other way around it!
Well here on the border, the Hispanic populace isn't at all happy with the whole plan. The plan is going to REQUIRE the illegals to return to their native country and they think that's wrong; the plan is going to require then to pay fees and fines (although they'll have like eight years to pay them), and they think that's wrong; the plan calls for evaluating a persons education, skills and criminal records ahead of "family ties" in the US, and they think that's wrong.OY VAY, can't make them criminals happy, no matter what we do! As far as increased security on the border to Mexico, that is considered insulting to the Mexicans that we would build barriers and have armed patrols to prevent illegal immigrants from crossing the border. Some things to think about: To immigrate to Mexico you have to come with ten times the typical income for the area you are immigrating to and don't even think of flying an American Flag, you'll go to prison. Get caught working without a work visa and ya, you guessed it-Mexican prison. If you have a company over there you must phase the entire workforce to be 100% Mexicans (Including upper management) within about 5-10 years, and must clearly demonstrate that those skills don't exist in the local populace to hire a gringo at all. If we had the same immigration standards as Mexico, there'd be a whole lot of ticked off criminals, I mean immigrants in the USA.
Well I am pro-amnesty and I'm not against border control. I am however against inhumane border control and against the wall for various reasons which are apart from immigration. There are certain requirements and conditions that have to be followed for amnesty, it wouldnt be something uncontrolled. You as well as many antis are making it seem chaotic and that isn't the case. Your question is already biased and I am guessing you are just stating your view on this instead of actually questioning another view point. I am assuming you are expecting answers which agree with your thoughts from other antis if not, I do apologize. But yes, you are missing some things. Again, amnesty or something similar would be controlled and border control would be handled differently than the undocumented immigrants already living here. Pro-amnesty people can have different opinions on border control. I personally think border control is taking it too extremely, hurting people and they can come up with a better solution. The migration reform would also help with border control seeing as how if processes weren't so difficult, there would be more people coming in legally. The hard process right now is giving people no other chance.
Obviously the pro-amnesty are against border patrol.

We already had an amnesty, the borders were NOT controlled, now we have tens of milllions of more illegal aliens demanding citizenship.and they are still pro-amnesty???
We don't need an amnesty, we only need to enforce laws in place already and there WILL be no illegals!!!

Don't hire them.
Don't let them rent or buy houses.
Don't give free health care.
Poof!! No more illegals. Problem solved.
