What sort of benefits do immigrants get when they come to the US?

I've been told it's easier for an immigrant to get a $100,000 loan thats been here for only 6 months than it would be for me to get one and I was born here.
I've also been told that Vietnamese immigrants receive a large sum of money to start a business or to help them get started in life when they move here.
Whats the deal? Is this MY tax money being given to these immigrants when I can't get any of it?

Answer:
Yes you are correct, our government has been doing just that for years. I used to live in a medium town where every single gas station, motel, laundry and small store was owned by someone in the country a short time.

They are able to get SBA loans that you and I can not get.

The more dirty government secrets that come out the better.

keep spreading the word, write and call you deadbeat senator and congressman. I do!
Yes you are very right. Business loans are available to "immigrants", that aren't available to the average American.
You are correct.
Sounds unfair
None, they get treated like crap. It would be best for you to stay out of America and stay home!
yep, and its BS.
What you've heard is correct, that is why there are so many immigrants here in the U.S. I personally think that's ******* ridiculous, but that's our lovely government for ya!!
Honestly, I don't mind immigrants getting anything. Let them start the American dream. They want to be American citizens.

Its the Illegal Aliens that come here, never wanting to be citizens, only wanting to steal jobs, export money, drain the tax money, then go home. Get them out of here. You want to be my countryman, you love this great nation as much as I do, you want to learn the language, learn the culture, love the fact that you can have any faith, and heritage, any culture then by all means come here through legal channels and become my neighbor you are welcome.
when it comes to money, we all know the banks will give it to anyone that qualifies, regardless of race, creed, nationality, religious background and so on.

Small business loans as we all know are so supported by the government because they bring growth to areas that would not otherwise grow or be developed and there is a market for it, and there are alot of incentives that go along with it.

If i wanted to open a Chinese store in a predominately Chinese area, the banks and government are not going to say no, we were looking to build a high end dress store. Its just will not happen.
Its all about demand and supply.
Illegals get benefits that the average US citizen has no idea is available. There is organizations like "The Raza" who tell them how to get them.
All illegals need to be deported. Bottom line!
You are dead on right. If you're a citizen these days all you do is support immigrants. Bank one gives loans to anyone with a matricular ID. Illegals can own a home but sorry, since you are a citizen and pay taxes, you can't!
yep.. that is the problem.. it is almost better to be an illegal then it is to be a citizen.. but the funny thing is that after they get the benefits, they are exploited. the interest rates on that loan are in the 20% and they work for nearly nothing. So the illegals are not too smart for me. But we still need to say illegal is illegal. we need to stop allowing people to be here illegally who are living off the hard work of all of the usa citizens
Ive never seen a loan given to anyone without a credit report...how do immigrants get 100K loans with no credit and no background?

Here we go again...morphing the truth so others will join the bandwagon of ignorance and hate
As a resident alien (not yet an immigrant), I can tell you first hand the "benefits" of immigration to the US.

- Unable to vote
- Unable to obtain ANY type of bank loan (no credit history)
- Unable to obtain favorable interest rates even when you HAVE a credit history (remember, it only began the day you opened your first bank account ... regardless of your credit history elsewhere in the world)
- Unable to buy property (i.e. a home) without first paying a disproportionately large downpayment and having to struggle with abnormally high interest rates ... if the banks will even let you borrow the money in the first place
- Always having to explain why you sound 'different'
- Putting up with ethnic jokes that really aren't all that funny to begin with
- Always having to be able to prove your actual citizenship, as well as your ability to work/study in the US (this means basically having both the proper visa and a valid passport on your person at all times)
- Living with the threat of constant deportation ... even when you are in the country legally
- If you do succeed in obtaining a work (or study) visa, being tied to one locale and employer (or school), unable to move around and find better prospects
- Have to travel to a nearby border point at regular intervals to prove who you are, what you do, and why you shoudl be allowed to remain ... and then (perhaps) get your visa status renewed, at the whim of a couple of gun-toting kids in uniform that might have a real high school education
- Have to defend your person and property with muscle (at most, a baseball bat!), since it is illegal in most states for a non-citizen to carry a firearm ... against a population that is entitled to carry automatic weapons at all times
- Have to obey all the laws and regulations (including those that seem to change almost daily), because you don't want to give the authorities any reason to pick you out of the crowd and deport you

... Does that give you any idea of what it's like? And remember, I'm here legally!
