where does it say that the british tax payer will be paying for it ? i think the muslims will pay for it themselves . we as british christians have built churches all over the world, and in some places where it has not been required it would be very hypocritical to say that a mosque cannot be built but i know how you feel i wouldnt like it either. they wont scrap it though, you know this government far to afraid to upset the minorities in this country even though it upsets the majority.

At the very least the surrounding population should be consulted, but if there's a perceived need for one I'm guessing the surrounding population is Muslim.

No. I visited the UK, and saw how the NHS needs help. The UK government needs to stop kissing Muslim butt and help their own people first and foremost.

Every religious body should be free to apply for planing permission to construct buildings in which their believers can worship.They should be responsible for the total cost involved. We should not forget to respect the right of freedom of choice.
