As an applicant from Hong Kong, I am interested to know that the processing time of the application for permanent residence through skilled worker scheme. How long the applicants have to wait from the date of application submission to the date of release of the application outcome? Can anyone who have successfully obtained visa through skilled migrant scheme share your experiences? Also, the number of HK people wishing to go to Canada has dropped sharply in recent years so I wonder why it still takes so long (about 5 to 6 years) for Canadian consulate to process the application of HK applicants?
