Should i call the INS / ICE on my supervisor?
He's Korean and barely understands English. I have talked to the CEO but he's not punishing him. because he's also Korean.
I told the CEO that i wanted proof that I was stealing and if they didn't provide them I would sue my supervisor.
Specially when everyone here has seen my supervisor steal, both parts and tools, and even a GPS.
He's accused me twice now, I have talked to a lawyer, and going to talk to the the labor dept.
But should I teach him how things are done here and call the INS/ICE on him, I have his address!
He treats people like he was still in Korea, and doesn't understand that his cultures way of treating people is completely unacceptable here.
Do you think I should call them and get him deported for harassing US citizens and Legal Residents who are in process of becoming US citizens?
Answer:
I think that would be an excellent idea since so many Asians come here and think they can walk all over the American people, i have seen this before and one man went to the factory with a shot gun because a Asian was so mean to his wife and called her a whore , but he was arrested before he could find the S.O.B. it is probable best if he had killed the S,O.B. he would have ended up in prison for a long time. our laws are screwed up this *** should have been shot.
if you can prove he has been stealing that would end his bid for citizenship, I would sue him and his company, maybe you won't nee to work anymore if youcan get a good enough settlement.
he wont be deported for harassment, you'll only be westing time. but you should sue him, and the company for having such an unhealthy enviroment.
report only if he is illegal. i would sue him for false accusations. and then sue the company. you took it to their attention and they did nothing.
If he is your supervisor and the CEO is also Korean, there is a good chance that they are here legally and calling ICE/INS won't do you a bit of good. If its a Korean company they have the right torun it as they see fit so long as U.S. labor laws are not violated. Just because they do not do things to suit you and your sensibilities is not going to win you any brownie points with INS or ICE and they won't even listen to you.
SO you have his address, big deal. Send him a card thanking him for being someone you don't like. I have worked for American companies in Korea and can tell you they do things the way they want not how we want.
IF, IF, IF he accuses you of theft, charge him back and make him prove it. On that issue you may stand a chance with the labor board. the rest of it, you are wasting you time and just venting. Its pretty much like wetting your pants in a dark suit. If gives you a warm feeling but no one will notice.
You should report anyone that you KNOW is an illegal. Don't do it because you are upset at him, don't do it to harass, don't do it because you THINK he is, do it to be doing you part to stop the raping of our country.
If he is not illegal then you can't just call INS on him. I would suggest changing jobs.

I'm with you. I worked for Koreans when I was in high school. I was accused of stealing too! Keep in mind I'm Asian (not Korean). I'd sue him and the company. I wish I had sued them back then. I doubt that INS and ICE would do any good.
your stupid calling the ins on a person who is trying to get their green card....lmao they will do nothing about it. You are just going to make a fool out of yourself and get fired.
IMO, you should first call ICE and then the IRS.
I agree it sounds like he is trying to treat you the exact same way people are treated in Korea.
Welcome to the real world. Fill the pockets of the American Lawyers ( I meant liars, sorry) They laugh at you when they buy free drinks....because YOU paid for it. Ha...ha .ha!!
The best thing would be to leave the job as you seem to be a misfit in your present job.
I think you have to do something to protect yourself because if you don't you might get into legal trouble if the supervisor goes to the cops they might believe him. Document things!
Personally, I would look for another job and THEN report him.
Good luck!
I doubt if you could get him deported, but I would lodge a formal complaint with your company's labor relations. Get any proof of his steeling and present it to security....Nuf Said
If you plan on filing against him make sure that you have everything documented. If no paper trail it will be your word agains theirs. And believe me they will make up the papers that they will need just to prove their case against you. You can call the INS but I doubt that it will do any good. Proceed with your suit against them with the labor dept. because harassment of their employees of any kind is unethical.
Good Luck!!
