"Illegal immigration into the United States is a highly profitable proposition for both employers and the U.S. government, and it also benefits Mexico, which is the largest source country of undocumented immigrants into the US.
The US and Mexican governments actively entice illegal immigrants to enter this country and to work illegally for profit-hungry U.S. employers. Poverty-stricken immigrants , who are often desperate to house and feed their families, respond to the financial enticements...and then are blamed by U.S. citizenry for illegally being in the US.

Translation."ethnic advocacy" means buying favor...and votes.within the illegal immigrant community. If an immigrant doesn't vote, he/she has relatives who do. In the 21st century, Hispanics surpassed African-Americans as the largest ethnic group in the United States. Many believe that the Bush Administration's lack of immigration enforcement in 2004 was directly connected to the Republican Party's goal to court the Hispanic vote, and to entice Hispanics to join Republican ranks.
Translation..."business interests" means profits. When labor costs are lower, business profits are higher. When thousands of businesses have higher profits, then the US business community is stronger (and happier). More votes and more voter perception of success.
A major economic drawback, though, to allowing thousands...probably millions...of US businesses to pay under-market wages and benefits to undocumented workers is that it depresses wages for all workers in the US. All Americans workers, then have decreased incomes, lower benefits and higher rates of poverty and hunger.
An obvious moral drawback to allowing US businesses to pay under-market, lower than even minimum wage rates, is that it's wrong. Minimum wage and standard minimal working conditions are established to humanely provide for the safety and welfare of all workers...not just American-born workers. It's a matter of decency and human rights, rooted in the United States' Christian-Judeo heritage. It's wrong and exploitative, and it's immoral. It's an updated form of economic slavery.

And there's one more reason why would the US government would look the other way, thus allowing US employers to replace American workers with undocumented workers from other countries. A huge, seemingly insurmountable reason. A $7 billion a year problem: Social Security.

I think the time for pointing fingers can be over...maybe we can now come up with a fair solution.
If we can send a man to the moon, we can stop illegal immigration, it's not about the way it's about the will. As to the money the illegals pay into but do not receive back in social security, when they are using fake or stolen cards they are breaking the law, why should they profit from breaking our laws, and even if you give them a pass on that, the other tax's that do not pay make up for that. Studies show that the illegals receive far more benefits than they pay in tax's. If this amnesty is passed it will cost the American middle class tax payer about 3.1 trillion dollars over the next 20 years, no amnesty. They are illegal aliens not undocumented workers
Yeah, thats all going in benefit toward the corporations who take advantage of this source of man labor for revenue. However, is that the real problem in immigration to the U.S. from Mexico? What do the immigrants really want when they come here to "America: The Land of the Free" Obviuosly, they want a better life, but they aren't really getting it because, stereotypically, hispanics are the backbone of most of the work force here in the U.S., just like you had said, the large corporations like WalMart need this source of man labor, especially in agriculture, for making big money. Personally, I think the U.S. has the means, the resources and the power to implement a better security in the U.S.-Mexican border. I've also heard several irrelevant reasons why the U.S. hasn't done it. But, its a double sided sword, in that, while I may be a mexican descendent yet a U.S. citizen, I know of other hispanics that abuse the system when it comes to S.S. and medicare/medicaid, and it is REALLY expensive, drawing the U.S. farther into a crisis of economic fatality. Only the God knows why everything that is happening is happening.
They're not starving in Mexico. I's a lie to gain sympathy from us. Their malnutrition rate could be better, but it's reasonable. Their income actually barely above average. It's just when they're compared to us, it looks bad.
So how about citizens arrest? Should we start doing that and dropping off illegal aliens at the police station?
We know the government has been looking the other way...but guess what? The American public is lowering the boom on those in Washington, we have never been so polarized by one issue in decades.
So regardless of all the weak attempts to explain why illegals do what they do, I'd start packing for that trip back over the border.

OK, so you did use a liberal link to make your points. My problem is basically with the term "Illegal". I am a law abiding citizen, yeah maybe I will break the speed limit on occasion and yes I have received a ticket on occasion but I paid my fine and increased insurance rate. I pay my part in taxes and do not use government services I am not entitled to use. I am appalled at this whole discussion. We the people are allowing this. We need to say to our elected officials "what are you going to do about illegal immigration?" And if they do not give us the answer we want, we should fire them. Yes we have that power. Do we use it ? No we don't because we are too lazy to get off our couch go down to the polls and elect people who will take a stand. We listen to Rosie and Oprah way too much, and we discount our own common sense. We decide who will lead us based on their gender or the pigmentation of their skin or what they say the will give you. When a politician speaks no matter what party they represent they are lying. It is impossible for them to tell the truth. First of all all of them think we are not intelligent enough to understand the truth. People will do what you allow them to do, we allow illegal immigration, so they come across the border. When we as a people decide enough and start holding the politicians in Washington and our state capitols accountable then we will get what is best for all of us. For now no one is holding the politicians accountable for anything. They blame Bush for the war, but they forget that, congress approved to declare war. Both sides of the isle did that.
Immigration to America in the 17th to 19th century was by decent, hardworking, well intentioned people, heading to America with honorable intentions to build and contribute to society. They created a workable social system with benefits to the deserving and a society of well-intentioned and decent people. But no such people come any more.
Now they come in droves, packing the major cities, causing an increase in crime, congestion, and taxes as real estate rents soar, parking is unavailable or exorbitantly high. Americans who took their entire lives to pay off their home mortgages, now find that the taxes on their homes are so high, they cant afford to live in them any more and the congestion so bad, they cant even find a place to park in front of their own homes. Many have to pack up and move out of the city, just to make ends meet, and then face the arduous daily hours of driving back and forth just to get to work and back home. That is, those that still have jobs, since as this goes on, jobs disappear, either right here where we get laid off, or the whole company moves out to a cheap labor country. And as the hordes make demands for energy needs, power needed to heat and light homes and buildings is insufficient, and cities black out, the demand for gas soars, heating prices skyrocket, and our own supply of gas becomes insufficient to meet our own needs, and we become victims of the arabs, who use the pumps to revenge our policies they don’t like.
They pile over the borders or by plane on visitor visas, preying on the good naturedness of Americans to provide a refuge for the oppressed, they connive the appearance of the downtrodden and persecuted, and then sit down comfortably and stay here, leeching off the health care system which faces bankruptcy in 20 years, the welfare system that us sucker u.s. taxpayers have to pick up the tab for, and which we spent decades to build.
Social parasites from latin america, flock here to live free on us sucker taxpayers, dragging their families and relatives in, once they get green cards and then swamping the health care system with their third world illnesses and birth defects. And the other breed of latinos – criminals of the most evil intensities terrorizing communities in which they rob and kill.
Thieves and common criminals from the countries of eastern Europe and the soviet union, hearing that there is still stuff on store shelves when stores close, that hasn’t been shoplifted or sold, come and steal, with impunity.
Mafia organizations that control Russia and the countries of the former soviet union, setting up foreign crime systems that specialize in grand larceny, weaponry, even nuclear arms materials for sale, stolen from the old soviet system, available for sale to our enemies, raking them million$.
Africans with strange ,deadly diseases walk in, causing epidemics and death to our gay citizens and to innocent people in general and swamping the health care system.
Asians with alien religious philosophies, contrary to Christian monotheism, poisoning the minds of our youth. And they come and take our jobs away here in America, while employers, enticed by cheap labor, move their companies there, leaving us unemployed,.
Terrorists walk in and go about their death tactics with ease and we shudder at what they will do to us next.
All, contributing to crime, violence, social unrest.
Finally, To add insult to this injury, our government picks up the tab for hundreds of
thousands of third world “students” to come, pack our universities tuition free at the expense of us US taxpayers ,while we Americans fall into debt to pay for our own children to get a college education.

The immigration issue is just the first step to the creation of the North American Union and our new money...the amero.
Lets face it, we are down this path regardless what we think about it. The amero is going to come inot being within the next few years, the superhighway between Mexico and Canada running across America is already in the works. Several year ago we gave amnesty to illegals..now we are talking about doing it again but this time only 300% more of them are in question to receive the benefit.
Most cictizens are complaining because these illegals are sucking off of society..there is a solution even though you and most of your readers dont think there is.the solution is quite simple...get rid of the benefits.
You read it correctly, get rid of food stamps and they wont use them, get rid of welfare and they wont use it, get rid of medicaid and medicare and they wont use it...By doing this you will make them responsible for themselves instead of sucking off society.if they realize there is no free dinner here they will stay out.
