I agree with the deportation of ILLEGAL immigrants. My husband is a resident alien (a LEGAL immigrant) and I of course would prefer him to NOT be deported.
Personally I think those who have problems with LEGAL immigrants and are citizens of the USA have logic and/or mental problems. Unless you're Native American, at some point you had an ancestor come here from SOME OTHER COUNTRY.
i think the key is that there are those who work hard where they now live, unfortunatly there is a large proportion that don't to which i would agree to the second statement.
All illegal aliens should be deported but not all immigrants are illegal. As far as the sex thing, I have no idea waht you re referring to, must be UK knowledge only.
Theres a big difference. Many of the immigrants that come here, are illegal, and then come and sponge of the state.
People who emmigrate from Britain to other countries, go to retire or work or have enough money to take care of themselves, and are not entitled to any benefits.

Britain is soft on immigrants, especially illegal immigrants. It needs to be stopped before all our resources are drained. Whats wrong with helping the less fortunate British that need help. There are British people struggling to buy a house or waiting years for a council house because these people are given priority. We would nbot get this priority treatment on their countries.

Well, apparently immigration is a one-way street. Gary Glitter and the like have the God-given right to live anywhere in the world, but if anyone presumes to come here, even legally, like the Poles and the rest, there's hell to pay. The problem is in the UK is simply that it is not controlled enough, that's all. We need a points system over here and deportation and removal of citizenship of people who continuously break the law. For example, nearly all the 21/7 bombers were illegal, is this just a coincidence?
The muslim situation has unfairly tarnished a lot of immigrant groups who have come to the UK.

How many generations back do you wish to go? I fear there would be no one left. Most British people originate from elsewhere. I expect many of the countries with ex- pats living in them are actually quite happy to have them there.
It is quite apparent that the USA is now in a potential death spiral. The golden years are long gone. The damage done to our country by class polarization, dependance on welfare and subsidies, political corruption so endemic that we have no sense of American identity. We need a total moratorium on all immigration for 5 years, and a different system of taxation, clarification of who is our friend and who is not. The decay of America has been accelerated by groups so stupid that they deflect attention from the true issues. It is not even remotely possible to expect America to recover to its past golden years, without a significant cost. I have posted several replies to other similiar questions and the questions usually hinted at the type of answer desired and the truth is not flexible . Unfortunately most of the questions on such a critical issue.are asked by children..We live in a world of the "haves" and the "have nots"...the only thing keeping peace now is the presence of weapons and power. The shift has started in the power balance...India and China have both displaced the USA in key areas....unless we are willing to undergo a type of "isolation", the USA can not recover without removing and neutralizing the upper 2 % of wealthy Americans and corporations. Changing our sense of fair and unfair..as it applies to Christian values..not as it applies to money and greed. The lessons of the past have not been remembered, we are making the same mistakes again.only this time we dont have the resources to recover. The true spirit of America will live on, even if America the country falls apart. We need to stand up and be proud to be American and not give a damn what other countries think. We need to start taking care of our own...we owe it to America

Good question! The answer in short is no though.
I do not think that we should get rid of all immigrants though I do think that illegal immigrants should be removed.
(For the record for at least one poster above, there are loads of men from the UK who travel abroad for sex. An example of where they can go is Thailand and there, they can get to have sex with underage boys and girls.)
