Should we begin contacting our senators to ensure that the border is closed?

Contacting them? How about downright harassment? those idiots have lost their way...they couldnt find water if they fell out of a boat..
I think its a great idea to do just that, but the two I have (in California) will label you a racist for suggesting such a thing. The majority of senators are out of touch with reality and main stream America. They still believe they were right and they did not plan on closing the border.
Would it matter, who do you think cuts their grass, cooks for them, and probably has had no telling how many affairs with them, male and female, promising them citizenship.

Yes and while we are at it we should get them to stop giving welfare benefits to illegal aliens and their children this is just ridiculous that we give them anything other than a bus ticket home. If we stopped giving them benefits we could better afford sending them home and if Americans won't pick vegetables and fruits we have plenty of people in our overcrowded jails that can do the job.

The senators here in Arizona will probably not do anything but I will be reminding them about their upcoming defeat at the polls if they do not.

Yes, we should. There are obviously those who would like to see the bill passed, so we the people need to be sure that doesn't happen. We do, then, need to fill up their telephone answering services, and email quays with messages that the border does need to be closed.
Amnesty, and protection for the volunteers protecting our borders would be a good idea as well.
Closing borders is ridiculous and extreme.
Plus, it has been enough of a hardship to make those people in Washington realize that we really want to retain national sovereignty, and CONTROL the border, when, in effect, they only seem to care about pandering to special interests. Let's just get them to think about enforcing current laws.

Yes,we should contact your lawmaker,congressman and senators asking them to close the border,we can bombarded them with phone calls, and emails.Telling them we must close the border before we have mushroom cloud in our USA.
Telling them also to enforce the law and arrest the employer who hires workers that do not speaks English.
This is the beginning of the stand against illegal immigration,defeated the bill know enforce the laws, build the fence ,close the borders.
