I have seen an increasing number of anti-McCann comments on here but nothing singling them out as white.

They also mention that her parents are middle class all the time, so what!
They keep saying if this child were black or from a working class family and rubbish like that.
A child is a child wherever, whatever.
Colour should not be an issue.
Dont be mistaken though, the comments are from the so called do gooder white leftie posse who cause more trouble than anyone, especially for non white people...

Must have missed it. But I do remember a little Asian girl that went missing, the Police assumed she had run away fro an arranged marriage (at eleven years old!) and didn't do much about it, a week later she was found dead in a disused factory a few streets away, don't think they ever caught the killer. It never made the papers or the TV. Her name was Nayntara Ali, I bet you never heard that name? It was about ten years ago.
Of course everyone hopes for the best for Madelaine. But it burns in the heart when other kids' lives just seem to count for nothing.

I don't think anyone of any race should have to apologise for their race, creed or color. No one should be able to make you feel as if you need to, ignore any ignorance and maybe it will go away.
They are not racist-they are just pointing out that if the McCanns were a rough family from a council estate,or were not white,or if the girl was older and less cute no-one would care.
Which is true-kids go missing in the UK every week and most never make the news-until something terrible happens that is.

i havent noticed any comments in this particular case, however I have noticed that nobody seems to take action or even notice when members of minority groups make racist remarks about white people and many police forces dont treat racially motivated attacks on whites as hate crimes
This little girls story is not kept in the news because she is white or blond or middle class.
It is because her parents care enough to keep the story in the public eye. You cannot blame them for doing that.
