The very first thing we have to admit is: What's the definition of amnesty? Paying thousands in fines and having to bow to government rule sounds like a penalty to me. It's for sure that many illegals will not pay attention to what our government says or wants (haven't up to now). So, it stands to reason that we will continue to have plenty of undocumented workers picking fruits and veggies.
I wouldn't spend much time worrying about it.
The Southwest Union is a pro illegal immigrant Union that has been using tactics like withholding employees to promote their position. It's the equivalent of a strike against the USA and is tantamount to blackmail. Some of the farmers who have refused to allow the pro-illegal immigrant unions have been particularly hard hit. We always have to look deeper than what is on the surface. We have 12-20 million illegal aliens in the country today. Are 12-20 million of them doing these jobs? if so then why are the crops rotting in the fields? Do we actually have 12-20 million agricultural jobs in the USA? Look beyond the surface and ask more questions. In my opinion, resulting from research and asking questions and interviews of people, this is manufactured and is a ploy to get what they want and we believe some of these farmers are in on it. After all, the end result is higher prices, is it not?
Why dont they just buy mexico and they can work in the fields there and grow bannanas ,coconuts and oranges and etc..
It's probably a lie, as are most of the stories told to us by the invader apologists.
