Well this hatred towards America is more noticeable in Mexicans because of illegal immigration, but you have to understand that it is not something peculiar of the Mexican population. There are many other nations and dislike America. Also there are as many angry people in Mexico against Americans as there are Americans angry against Mexicans. Some people in Mexico even agree that they send their people back. The problem has two sides, not just one.

Thanks to Ted Kennedy, Back in 1986 it was "unrealistic" to round up and deport the 3 million illegal immigrants in the United States then. So they were given amnesty -- honestly labeled, back then -- which is precisely why there are now 12 million illegal immigrants. They have no right to protest anything in this country, as they are not legal citizens. If we went to Mexico and protested them, we all know what would happen. Very one-sided or what we call double standards in politics.
That is the problem with America now, with Bush in office. Were sticking our noses where it doesn't belong. I would rather take in some of Mexico's men, women and children then to have men lose their lives over the basis of a lie in Iraq as a result of greed from Bush and Cheney. This administration has ruined this country. Now their pushing this tiny issue as compared to our own men dying over there, most of these ones from Mexico are hard working, christian people who just want a chance for a better life. I guess there are too many things to gripe about when it comes to Bush, where to begin.

I for one am sick of this wanting to put everything into spanish in the US along with English. Every other immigrant group had to learn English, along with the African slaves and Native Americans being forced to learn it. Back in the 1800s it was the Chinese that came over here by the thousands, and helped build our country, building our railroads. Yet when was the last time you saw anything in Chinese in the post office.
I do not hate Mexicans. I feel if you want to come to this country live here, then God bless you and welcome. But do it legally and obey our laws and learn our language. If I wanted to live in France I would certainly have to learn French, or learn Spanish if I wanted to live in Mexico.
Yet some of the Mexicans seem to think it is okay to fly our flag upside down at high schools in our country and put the Mexican flag upright, and to refuse to speak English.
If you hate the US, then go home. Don't come here if you don't want to be American. And the Mexicans shouldn't be given special treatment just because they can sneak in the back door. They should be subject to the sames laws that someone from Canada or Europe or Africa face when trying to immigrate here.

It's funny one poster said "the problem has two sides, not one" and Mexicans are angry because of the "illegal immigration" issue. What are THEY angry about?? They left their country and came to ours of THEIR OWN volition. Do they expect Americans to welcome them with open arms??

We are the one facing a government that is trying their dam*est to grant amnesty to at least 12 million illegal aliens, but we are the being ones hated.
It sounds most hypocritical from a country that AGGRESSIVELY jails and deports illegal aliens in their own country.
It's not just Mexicans. And it's not just USA people.
Overall, humans hate whites. It's biological, since humans belong to the subspecies Homo sapiens sapiens while whites are a mix of that subspecies and Homo sapiens neanderthalensis (Neanderthals).
Which means to full-humans, the smell of semi-Neanderthals is hard to bear, and in fact it's a biological reaction to feel hatred toward the mixed breed half-humans. We have to restrain ourselves with all our will power not to jump on you and avoid tearing you to pieces.
I think its time for America to go back to being an isolationist society. We only need to do it for a few years. We need the time to get our house cleaned up. Immigration reform does not need to be as comprehensive as my formerly favorite president Bush says. congress needs to first secure the borders. With so many different nations that absolutely hate us, it would be STUPID of CONGRESS to not secure the borders TODAY. Once they are secure, and the invasion has been stopped, then look at which illegals we want to keep. Criminals currently in our prisons should go first. THat can be accomplished in a year, and would empty about 600,000 jail cells. Then we can start looking at the potential criminals on our streets. I mean the gang bangers, rapist, and other thugs who are out there, but haven't been brought to trial. That would clean out probably about another two million. Then look at the ones who aren't educated beyond the tenth grade, find them and deport them. Yet another million or so, could be tossed out. THe remainder, the ones with jobs and a good work history could then be given a work visa, like Bush wants. The ones with children would be required to get off welfare and have gainful employment within a reasonable time. For those, they would be required to take english classes, and go thru the process of becoming citizens. give them a year. If they don't pursue becoming qualified, and becoming citizens in that period of time, toss them and their kids out. Gee Bush, it's not rocket science. Take baby steps, and the problem can be overcome!!!

that is completely unfair and bias on their part. that is a perfect reason to close our borders to them. no one in their right mind would demand that they get into the united states and live for free and that that the united states should accommodate their every need, wish, want, desire, etc.then act that way if an American comes to their country for what a few days. and they want to know why most Americans dislike illegal immigrants
I think that we should deport all the illegals back to Mexico, and then see what they think about it! It burns me up when they have their rallies about immigration and stuff and then they are holding the Mexican flag and holding signs in Spanish WHAT THE F***!
Why would we expect anything less? These are the same type of people who break our laws by coming into this country illegally, and then once here...making demands of the American people.

Keep in mind this as well. When these people were protesting their status and basically wanting the American people to give them a gift they in no way deserved. They decided to butter us up by cavorting in our streets disrupting our lives and schedules, threatening to shut down our economy by boycotting and not going to work (reminded me of a 2 year old threatening to hold their breath until they get a candy bar at the store), desecrating our US flag and flying theirs everywhere, flipping people off, and I could go on and on and on.
