President Bush as the Chief Executive is ultimately responsible for the lack of enforcement of our immigration laws. He may or may not have directly given the 'hands off' orders, but he is the one to blame, along with all of the congressional 'leaders' who seem deaf to the will of the people to just enforce the laws.

Yes. As long as there are loopholes in the American immigration system people will continue to come here illegally, and not just Hispanics. It is time to find a true solution to this problem and hold politicians responsible for not correcting this.

well of course with all the amnisty laws coming in now. Why not blaze into america..we will give all them our social sec bennies, free food stamps, money...medical..that I cant even get. I cant believe it. These hispanics act like we owe them something. Look, I kinda think anyone HAS the right to come live here in the USA, but why cant they do it right and for cryin out loud our language is f-ing ENGLISH.. learn it. I am a hairdresser and in my town there are more and more moving in around here, how the heck can a person get a cut they want when they dont even speak our language. I would NEVER go move to another country and expect them to change their language for me. OOOhh this topic makes me angy. I guess I am a bit more pregudiced than I realized.

YEAH...What's to stop them...If the U.S. government doesn't get off it's collective a$s, there will be absolutely nothing, physical( re-building the fence barrier) or constitutionally(setting in place, safeguards for American citizens)making it known ,sneaking into America..across sewer like streams....or through a too old chain link maze...will be dealt with, with more teeth than feeding them better, letting them watch cable TV, giving them nearly new clothes, if they have none, (which is usually the case when their arrested) on top of that, a free ride back to Mexico. The stories of some of these so called "immigrants".some= (what the government claims) 10 to 15% have committed felonys, while here illegally,which will eventually lead right back around to providing them with "THREE HOTS AND A COT" and allot more, for the next five(5) to ten(10) years. The power's that be....or have been, have more than just "fallen down" on this issue, no doubt, Las Vegas has been more than lucky!! LOL!! I'm sure the landlords and mortgage companies that house the current illegal immigrants hope that they get replacements. I'm sure that the teachers that currently have jobs hope that new students arrive so that they can remain employed. Better yet why don't people that constantly scream about immigrants entering illegally go back to their own family's entry and apply todays laws and see how many get to stay. Isn't it odd that our unemployment and inflation remain at the lowest levels in years? Should we get rid of the immigrants that commit crimes, sell drugs, abuse social programs - hell yes. If we allow employers to register immigrant workers and sponsor them as contibuting members of society we can then eliminate the rest as illegal and deport them. Lastly, I defy any American to open a business and hire only Americans, buy all supplies from American suppliers, make sure no illegal immigrant is involved in any aspect and try to survive in business. We Americans talk a good game but we really decide with our wallets. Why are Toyota, Honda etc. blowing away Ford, Gm etc? because the Japanese build a better car for less money. By the way, I do know that the foreign cars have a higher initial cost, but the resale value and reliability of these cars makes them less expensive in the long run.
