I went through this myself last month. It takes roughly 6 months to apply from there and you have too for a spousal visa, there is no alternative.
I found it faster to apply for (unlimited right to remain as a partner of a British citizen) you can apply here for it in the Uk, costs 399 pounds by post (3 weeks) or 599 pounds for next day service.
To qualify you need to show that you have lived together as a couple for 24 consecutive months by showing 20ish original documents in joint or single names at the same address from 5 different categories:- rent, lease, mortgage, bank, tv, electric, gas etc.
You can then get married here or in Brazil or any other country and come back in no problem.

Make sure that you mention (unlimited right to remain as a partner of a British citizen) or they will give you general answers that say apply in Brazil.
if you can't do this then contact the British embassy in Brazil for a rough time line of how long it will take for a marriage spousal Visa.
