How important of an issue will illegal immigration be when you cast your votes in 2008?
Answer:
Its a show stopper for sure. You can bet all the panty waisted politicians are trying to figure out where they need to be on this issues in order not to be skinned at the ballot box come next November.
If nothing is done between now and then, it will be extremely important.
Well it's not going to stop because it benefits your economy so much. You know that every illegal could be booted out of your country within a week? All it would take is for the military to knock door to door, considering how many soldiers you have, i would more likely say closer to 3 days.
It's very easy to get rid of them, it's not easy to kill your own head in your a** economy
Extremely.
I can assure you, it will be number one priority.
Very important! And as you can see HillBillery is just another TRAITOR! June 01, 2007
Hillary Campaign Gets Influential Chicano Mayor
Hillary Clinton’s endorsement from Los Angeles’ self-proclaimed Chicano mayor officially gives her campaign the Three Musketeers of the radical Mexican La Raza movement as well as the nation’s most influential illegal immigration advocates.
With two renowned and controversial pro illegal immigration figures recently named to co chair her presidential campaign, Clinton actively pursued L.A.’s popular Chicano mayor (Antonio Villaraigosa) for months to round out the team.
The former First Lady finally got a commitment this week and named Villaraigosa to yet another national co chair position in return for his unconditional support. The mayor says he finally picked Clinton because she is “the only candidate with the ability to hit the ground running on her first day in the White House.”
Villaraigosa, a longtime member of an extremist Mexican group (Mecha) that advocates overthrowing the U.S. Government, has played a key role in his city’s huge and disruptive pro illegal immigration marches. He even encouraged massive student walkouts—that cost the city’s already ailing public school system nearly $1 million in state funding—to participate in the protests.
Clinton believes Villaraigosa and her other illegal immigration advocates will help secure the Latino vote in 2008. That is why in April she named two of the movement’s best known leaders to co chair her campaign. The first, Raul Yzaguirre, was president of the extremist Mexican group National Council of La Raza for three decades.
Within weeks the Clinton camp announced with great fanfare that the Speaker of the California Assembly, Democrat Fabian Nunez, would also be a national co chair. Nunez is well known for referring to U.S. lawmakers as rednecks and threatening to bring Washington to its feet at a 1990s event in which 100,000 rowdy Mexican flag wavers protested legislation they considered discriminatory.
A few years ago Nunez publicly declared war on California’s governor because the governor supports securing the southern border as well as legislative measures to help curb the state’s illegal immigration crisis.
There are TWO major domestic problems facing the average American these days: 1) Healthcare and 2) Illegal immigration and amnesty reform. The health care system in America needs immediate reform and we must have nationalized health care so each and every American has health insurance coverage paid for by taxes. This is not such a bad thing either. We spend billions of dollars on health care in America, with those dollars spread out over all people who will require health care each year, the cost is not that horrendous. It forces the doctors to provide care to every one even if they can't pay for services. Immigration and amnesty reform must be killed PERMANENTLY and the borders must be closed and each and every illegal must be rounded up and deported.
1/3.
Getting the troops out of this religious civil war in the middle east.
Securing the borders and employing strict enforcement already on the books.
Health Care
It will be the number one issue when i go to the polls!
Throw Obama Hussein and Hillary Rodman out because they welcome illegals and terrorists with open arms. What a disgrace.
VERY important. Anyone who's up for amnesty sure as hell ain't gettin' my vote! Reagan tried that back in '86, when there were 3 million illegals in the country. Critics said it would only encourage more illegal immigration, and they were right! Today we have somewhere between 12 and 20 million illegals, depending on who you want to believe. Fact is, nobody knows for sure because they're all underground. The fence has been authorized and funded, but the Dems in congress are dragging their feet as the wetbacks continue to pour into our country. Guess they're after that illegal alien vote, and don't tell me they don't vote, because I know better. That creep who killed all those kids on a playground with an AK-47 back in the'80's, was registered to vote in 5 different places in California, and he wasn't even a citizen! So this stuff is nothing new. It's been going on for decades and the government has turned a blind eye. I don't care what critics say about the fence. I've heard all the pat sound bites -- 20 foot fence, 21 foot ladder -- they can always dig under it, etc, etc. But I have this to say to the critics. If fences don't work, why do we build them around every prison in the US?
Like for tens of millions of Americans, deportation will be the number one issue.
Any politician that thinks it won't be an issue is out of touch with voters and has spent too much time being manipulated by pro-amnesty TV stations.
None. The issued is dead - as is immigration control.
It died with the Senate bill that was defeated.
People who voraciously opposed the bill should have read the darned thing first..Pfffft! Gone.
Too bad you folks get upset by the truth. The TRUTH is, it is impossible to FIND 12 million people who don't want to be found...How do you think that will happen? Do you know how many people that is? And, even if you could find them, what then? Whose going to process them - how many will it take...then how are you going to send them home? How many planes, trains, buses - and who is going to pay the tab.
That's like rounding up the entire population of Colorado, Nevada and Arizona - or the population of the COUNTRY of Denmark...
The bill wasn't perfect, but it was a start...it included funding for tightening the borders, hiring more border agents, virtual fences - but it is GONE now.
The government isn't interested anyway. Commerce has always depended upon this cheap labor force and government has never done anything to impede it.
So flagged me out all you want...truth is truth.
The immigration issue is dead.there is NO money.NO interest...
It's in my top three issues.
That being said EVERY candidate that is seeking a nomination, on BOTH sides voted for closure, so, none of them will get my vote.
Very important... I know who I'm not voting for
Check this article out about that song- The journalist did her homework

Doesn't matter, as long as they are not against immigration.
VOTE DEMOCRAT
-Obama or Clinton-
I will support those that supported the Bill. Good thing The House will look into this matter and try to make a bill of their own. I used to be republican, but after all the hateful speech I have heard,I can no longer support them. I will be voting DEMOCRATIC next election. GO OBAMA, RICHARDSON, OR CLINTON.
This will be of primary importance. The second will be the health care. I don't want the hillary care/ socialism health care for all. It sounds good on face value, but the truth is that health care will go down and people will not be able to get the timely care they need now. Additionally, every person will be required to pay for health care, whether you want it or not. It will come right out of your taxes. One more governmental control of your personal life.
It will definitely influence my vote.
I think a lot of Congressmen and judges can say "Adios" to their jobs come 2008. Their names have been documented and will be sent out prior to the election. Ignoring the will of the people is going to cost them. Period!
The most important, then the war.
The damages of an amnesty is just too big of a picture for most people to even begin comprehending.
Steve d: said it right.
