Isn't Amnesty The BEST thing?
Answer:
NO!
That is BS that Americans wont do the work! I have washed my share of dishes and even wiped butts at a nursing home.
Mexico is not doing anyone a favor...they are taking advantage of the greedy CEOs here in the USA.
Haha, thats the funniest thing I have heard all year. If we need them so bad, they should be paying us.
Hmmmph. You'd think Mexico would strive to keep all that um, "strength".
Yeah, right.
Yes it is the best thing. And the sooner they realize that the better for them. It is going to happen so just stop being against it and the sooner you accept it the happier hou will be in life.
YOU ARE NUTS! They only ones that benefit from amnesty are the illegal alien criminals that are breaking our laws! America will go bankrupt! Mexico is NOT OUR FRIEND! They are only doing a favor for their poor since Mexico doesn't have to support their own citizens!
It is the other way around, dude - Mexico couldn't survive without the money the illegal alien criminals are sending home. That's why the government is so against a wall - it would make it harder for these criminals to cross the border!
You are insulting!! HOW DARE YOU TELL LIES!!!
EDIT: Hey, Mrs. Jetter you are WRONG!. We will not just "get use to the fact" about amnesty! We are fighting back. The Senate's piece of crap is NOT a done deal!
No. It's not. Illegals granted amnesty will eventually bankrupt all social programs in the USA. This isn't brain surgery...this is simple economics.
Yes it is in our best interest to have the poverty from Mexico be our number one import.
As to what favors Mexico is doing for us, why not close the borders and see how well we can survive. There are millions of people all over the world that would pay to come and work here
I know a lot of people who used to like doing the kind of work that now only illegal aliens do. They can't make enough money doing it now.
Illegal in America
Memorial Day is an important moment in remembrance of those brave and women who have died for the preservation of freedom that we cherish in America. Many Americans visited memorials set fourth throughout the nation. From New York to Los Angeles walls are engraved with last names like Johnson, Mitchell, Jackson, Nguyen. In this wall you will also find names that end with Ramirez, Lopez, Jimenez, Ruiz. All these names are symbols of pride for us. These names of these heroes have given the ultimate sacrifice fighting the Global war on Terror. It’s very probable that some of the people who have died in combat have parents or relatives who are here illegally. Are we going to send John and Ken to knock on the door and have to say the following, “We regret to inform you that your son or daughter died in combat, we are very sorry. Now we have to deport you back to you’re nation of origin.”
The debate for Immigration reform has been heated up by racist entities like John and Ken from KFI radio in Los Angeles. These shock jocks like to dehumanize the Hispanic people just like the Nazi’s dehumanized countless Jews before executing them. John and Ken, want America to think that Hispanics don’t value education, which is simply irresponsible and hateful. This rhetoric is exactly what we don’t need in this tenuous debate. The only way the Immigration issue will be solved by comprehensive Immigration reform PERIOD!
I am all in favor of building a wall, therefore keeping out Terrorists and criminals from our shores. However, I am not in favor of persecuting and verbally lynching these people like KFI Radio constantly advocates on it’s airwaves in order to gain ratings. Thank you to President Bush for his leadership in this divisive issue. And Thank you to all Americans for supporting those people who are in fact Americans!!

No, I think that on an economic basis it clearly is NOT the best thing.
lmao. you go ahead and dream. we once had a mass deportation, and we did great with out all the illegals. we will do it again. if you think amnesty will be passed with out a big price tag, you better think again. illegals think they got what they wanted, but in reality they did not. but hey, thanks for the real good laugh.
This is a completely false. The United States does not need millions of illegal aliens. We need to enforce our immigration laws and secure our borders. We need to be able to assimilate those legal immigrants that come here. Over 60% of those coming here from Mexico are uneducated and many are engage in other criminal activities besides illegally crossing the border and breaking our immigration laws.
We need & want legal immigration but the government needs to put a quota on the number of people coming here, track those people, assimilate those people and take only those people that are willing to learn English and become productive Americans (which means defending the United States against all other nations including Mexico.)
I do not believe there are jobs Americans will not do. I also believe that business will make the appropriate adjustments according to the labor market. They will invest in newer technologies & equipment, pay more, etc. to be able to compete. And, if all else fails, we could simply force all those people on welfare to do those jobs that "Americans are not willing to do".
If we enforce our immigration laws and secure our borders everything else will work itself out.
Hopefully the Mexican people can force some internal change in their country, get rid of the corrupt leaders and police and grow their economy and bring people out of poverty and educate them. It simply is not the job or duty of Americans to do this. Take some responsibility, step up and make the changes needed.
Why would illegals want amnesty anyway, they will loose their jobs Americans wont do since they will not be paid under the table anymore, they will be legal citizens so they would have to pay taxes, and be eligible for the draft so Bush can send you to Iraq,And even if Bush did sign the bill, what illegal can afford $5,000?I really dont think the bill is in your favor.
Yes, you are correct!
If the U.S. "needs" more workers, all we "need" to do is increase our immigration quota. Our quota is regulated, by the way, by the government, according to the REAL needs of the country, not in accordance with the opinion of those on MyTend.com .
We do not "need" illegal aliens criminals here to fill our jobs.
There are hundreds of millions of people around the world, not just from countries south of our border that would come to this country in a heartbeat to fill all our jobs.
I think you're a little fruity. Scratch that, I think you're a lot fruity. Most American don't rely on illegal aliens to do the dishes and mow the lawn. "Pay" Mexico for workers? Are you forgetting about a certain 13th amendment? What do you want me to say? "Thank you, Mexico"? Whatever.
