I would LOVE to see that happen! All these Americans around here whining because they can't find a $30/hr. job anymore would be in for a RUDE awakening in Mexico. My husband used to work there for $80/week. That was GOOD MONEY in a GOOD JOB. He came here to better himself making $3/hr. chopping vegetables on a farm. I think it's a GREAT IDEA for you to go & get a job in Mexico. You wouldn't last a day.

Live there, work there (if you can find a job paying living means), marry if you will (many Mexican women are beautiful) ...
But know that you cannot own property there. Sure, you can buy a nice house on the ocean, but you do not own it. At the time of your death, it becomes Mexican property! It does not revert to your next of kin, it goes back to Mexico.
