Dream Act?? This is the U.S politicians' way of saying thank you for your illegal votes?
Answer:
It's sickening, isn't it. Thankfully, the bill died. It's sad that they would let an illegal alien pay in-state tuition while a citizen would pay more. Sad, just sad.
The dream act is as dead as a rock. Provisions of the Dream Act were included in the last Senate Bill that went down in flames this past week.
Froggie: Not going to happen. If they try we all go back to work again and email/fax them to death. Any further Bills will wait until at least 2009 becuse the Polis got their tails burned this past week. We have an upcoming election and we've shown the elected slugs that messing with the American public that any Bill better be what WE want or it becomes yet another 3rd rail for politicians.
The bill's very name is offensive; an obvious play on the "American Dream". What about all the LEGAL immigrants who fought so hard to make it to the US? Is this the politician's way of telling them "**** off - you just took the hard way, that's all"?
you want to throw up because the children had no say in whether they were coming to this country or not? If those kids were able to pass high school and get a diploma that means they had to learn English and had to adapt to American culture.
Nobody forced you to pay out of state tuition...you went where YOU wanted to go...these kids never had that choice
I think your jealous that these kids come from poverty and are able to fit into society and make something of themselves EVEN if all the odds are against them.
Chuck_Junior, actually they are talking about separating it from the reform bill along with AG jobs and trying again.
Its unfair to those of us who worked hard and paid huge student loans off and its not fair to other out of state students.
DREAM act stands for "Dead Rong Even At Making."
Its going nowere like the illegals who think they can stay here.
To answer your question, no, it's not a way to say thank you.
Don't worry, the "Dream Act" is deader than Ronal Reagan.
