It all depends on the economic status of Mexico. If Mexico was in the situation it is right now and America was worse, then undoubtedly they would accept immigrants from America with no problem. It is when a nation has too much wealth that they think they are big and bad, and that immigrants should not be allowed since it means having to share their resources. Because America is the wealthiest nation on earth, Americans do not understand what it is like to be truly poor and desperate (or at least most of them don't). The same thing would happen if most people in Mexico lived in a middle-class status. For the one who said that Mexicans don't allow South American immigrants, that's actually supposed to be to help the United States out by filtering as many immigrants as possible going to the U.S. Most everybody in South and Central America wants to emigrate to Mexico, lol, myself included.
Not only would Mexico not have sympathy for Americans if the roles were reversed they don't even have sympathy for immigrants from South American countries. Mexican immigration policy is much more harsh then the United States. We should mirror Mexican border policy!

nope me and my step-dad were going out to the races.
we got pulled over by the military not the police btw. they were doing checks and they didnt know english and they weren't friendly. i speak a little and understand spanish by the way. so we got to go through.
Have you ever been to Mexico?They are very friendly and will try to take the time to talk to you in English however hard it is for them.They don't expect Americans to speak Spanish.We are a nation of egotists and closed minded bigots.

For your answer, look at Mexico's immigration laws. Briefly, the first time you're caught in their country illegally, you are sent home. The second time its a felony with at least one year imprisonment. If you do become a citizen of Mexico you still will not be able to vote, hold public office, or enjoy birth-rite citizenship privileges (provided there are any). Sounds to me as though the real "beyotches" are south of the border!
