If I am a US Green Card holder, and was traveling from Europe to Mexico, would I need a Mexican Visa?

Answer:
This issue is governed by Mexican, not American, laws. You should call the Mexican consulate in your area to find out.

To my knowledge, US resident aliens DO need a Mexican visa, but that knowledge is a few years old. As I said, find out from the horse's mouth.
I would say legally yes. How long will you be in Mexico?

I lived in El Paso, Tx for 8 yrs and went to Mexico all the time. Never had to have anything but the fee to cross the bridge. So I would say no.

On the other hand, if staying for a long period of time you might. Best to call a Mexican Consulate and find out, you absolutely don't want to get into trouble in Mexico.
When you are a Green Card Holder you dont need a Visa to go to another country, because you are a US legal resident, so that means that you can travel any part in Europe, and Latin America, . You only need a permit to go to the Middle East. I hope my answer helps you, and enjoy your trip to Mexico, its beautiful,
Adios :)
