Should we pay 2.5 TRILLION dollars to provide a "path to citizenship" for illegals?
So everybody is saying it would be too expensive to send back the illegals. Would it cost $2.5 trillion? Let's see, what's 12 million into 2.5 trillion?

I'm glad you posted that info for everyone to see. You are absolutely correct. Just keep in mind however in our incorporated system of things, the government will be able to borrow against these individuals and use them as assets. thats correct "assets". That and considering most of those have less than a 6th grade education, offers a group of entities that can be easily manipulated. Unions will benefit as well since their numbers have been dwindling since the 80's and most of their current members are reaching retirement age and no new faces are replacing them. They too have a new batch of individuals that are easily manipulated thus keep this false slave principle of democracy(i.e. mob rule)alive. The government as well as the underlying powers fear if ever the ppl actually wake up to the deceit that has been perpetuated upon them beginning in the 1880's.
They have no intention of sending any illegals back. This is AMNESTY plain and simple.

This government doesn't have the balls to do the right thing. If they really want to be fair, they'll pass the same immigration laws for South Americans that their respective countrys have for Americans. Try going to Mexico and raising hell about being made legal there and see what happens!
That figure is over inflated because it assumes that most illegal aliens are going to stay at lower income levels. The reason that most illegal aliens don't move ahead is because of legal obstacles. It those are removed then more will start moving into higher income levels, paying more in FICA and income tax as their pay increases.
Deport all of them. Dont add problem to a bunch problems of America. Dont use the illegals for your campaign Pres. Bush. I know its only elections tactics.

start making the wealthy pay taxes and there would be no difference, but a surplus. requiring all taxpayers to pay social security amd medicare taxes on ALL wages will solve the current problems in the trust funds that the politicians have been robbing for decades. force medicare to require bargaining for the best prices on everything from wheelchairs and walkers, to prescription drugs and hospital teatment based on what is required, not what is (padded) into the costs the hospitals and doctors charge.
this would also allow for recipients of social security to actually get an actual raise in benefits.railrod retirees, school teachers, government worker, and private pension recipients all recieve periodic raises, not just cost of living allowances (do to inflation), but actual raises in the base benefit. as it is now, inflation may be 4%, social security increases 4% to cover the inflation, but then there are the costs not covered by the cost of living increase such as the rent going up 10%, the cost of food going up12%, the cost of fuel going up 300%, the cost of utilities going up 7-15% each year. that doesn't even consider the increased cost of medicare payments, for part b (major medical) from 10-12% a year. over all, the social security recipient recieves less money each year than can cover the various expenses which have gone up immediately after the raise is announced. i know, because i get social security and i was paying $45 for part b, now it costs me $78 each MONTH. over the twelve years i have recieved ss, my total income has risen less than $100 pert month, while my rent alone has gone up $200 a month, gas has gone from $1 a gallon, to $3 a gallon, and my utilities have risen over 30%. so you tell me, who should pay social security taxes, 12.5 illegals, who get NO benefits now, or 2 million wage earners whose annual bonuses equal more than i have made in an entire lifetime and who only pay social security on the first $90,000 of income yet make millions each year in salary and bonuses? where is the the pricipal "everyone is equal before the law?" for those of us who don't make those obscene incomes?
it went the way of everything which hurts the rich, onto the backs of the rest of us. we pay the taxes, they rob the government, and tell us how unfair we are when we want them to pay some taxes.
Most middle class families are already feeling the crunch financially from rising fuel cost. The cost of living in general is a financial pain in the butt!! So now I`m suppose to dig a little deeper in my pockets to pay more taxes to pay for social programs to help people who are here illegally. I thou hgt I was going to work everyday to provide a better life and future for my family. I say round em up and send em back.
