The article says nothing about slaughtering animals anywhere, the street, the yard, the garage.. NOTHING like that is mentioned. I didn't see the word illegal ANYWHERE, nor did they mention a GOAT, so basically you took a rather benign article and turned it into what you wanted to hear and then tried to pass it off as a fact. Sad. You are really grasping.
To answer your question, many people have a difficult time letting go of their old culture when they emigrate to a new one.
