Does Bush saying he would not invade Pakistan to get bin Laden because it is a Sovereign Nation make sense?

Well, that didn't stop him from invading Iraq and Afghanistan, did it? He's a sinking ship and I don't think anyone is fooled by his lies. Ultimately, we expect him to be tried for war crimes and treason but we want Cheney in there with him along with other members of his cabinet. Have you noticed that even daddy Bush is rarely seen with his son now? He's an embarrassment to the entire country! If he was in an Asian Country, he'd be required to commit Harri Kari. He certainly has "Lost Face"!

The government of Pakistan is trying to help us. Their position is very precarious and they could topple any time. A US invasion would create another radical Islamic state there - one with nuclear weapons. Pakistan is a large, rugged country. Our military forces are stretched very thin in Iraq and Afghanistan. There's no way we could conduct effective operations in Pakistan as well, especially with the uprising an invasion would cause.
bush only put a bounty on bin laden's head to look good to the American people. bush has no intentions of really wanting to capture him. after all the bush's and ladens are old friends. bush is nothing but a communist t this country, he needs to be impeached

Bush is a bit too quick the use the "preemptive strike" button. He goes where he wants to go. It's sad to have a President who doesn't hold his word...
Bush's position on immigration is horrible, and undermines his whole homeland security argument. So we're stuck with bad, or worse (the Democrats0 on this issue.
I have long suspected that we have not had a large-scale presence of troops looking for bin Laden because it would probably destabilize both Afghanistan and Pakistan and topple those fragile governments. And Pakistan already has nukes and missiles, and has tested them.
So we do what we can with special ops, etc., which will probably be more effective anyway.
Obviously I hope we get bin Laden. And that we do it much sooner than, say, the sixteen years it took to capture Eichmann. (But they did get him in the end.) Memgele, unfortunately, never faced justice while on Earth. I'm sure he faced it eventually, though.
No, I did'nt think he cared who he messed up. He has turned on U.S. citizens, by not enforcing our labor & immigration laws.

Actually I do not get any of the things that are going on in this administration. Homeland Security is a HUGE concern for this administration, we have spent tons of money on policies and technology but we still have open border(s)? Chertoff has a gut feeling that a terrorist attack is going to happen this summer, but our border(s) are wide open?
We will not invade Pakistan to get Bin Laden, however with our border(s) in the shape they are in he may be living here now for all we know...
Does anything that GW says make any sense? If his lips are moving, he is lying. He is not trustworthy and proven it in so many many ways! He doesn't care about the American people only his oil buddies and other richer than rich folks that he may be able to profit from. The sad thing is that God knows GW but GW thinks he's God!

We need Pakistan because it is a staging area for our spies and special forces. We have five listening posts there and 8 sat relays tied in to NATO. Our drones are in place there.

Pakistanis are extremely protective of their 60 year old nation; they are still recovering from the spilt blood in both sides. If any country invaded Pakistan, it would for sure result in WW3. This is a fact.
Anyhow, Pakistan is genuinely doing huge amounts to eradicate terrorism from the country and is an ally.
And Pakistan doesn't have huge deposits of crude oil! SO THEY DON'T WANT TO INVADE THE COUNTRY!
IF BUSH INVADE A SOVERIGNITY COUNTRY TO PERSECUTE BIN LADEN ,WELL ,CUBA SHOULD INVADE AMERICA TO PERSECUTE THE CUBANS WHO BETRAY THEIR COUNTRY!
