Visa Waiver for US visitors: why it is so wrongly made?
To start with, the Visa Waiver (green form) is so unwelcoming! You sign to lose the right to appeal in case the officials deny you the entrance to the country. This means that you can buy a very expensive plane ticket as a tourist and then having to go back without being admitted and without possibility of appeal!! How would you feel if the same was done to you when visiting other countries?
However, the most "interesting" question in the Visa Waiver is something like: "are you a terrorist or are you planning a terrorist attack in the US?". What do you expect a real terrorist to answer: "Oh, yes, of course, I will do some sightseeing first, and then I will be plotting a major attack on your population". Quite frankly, you need rethink a bit about this issue, it does not make you look good internationally...

Yes I agree with both of you. I have travelled to the US many times from the UK. They do need to change that green form and the terms and conditions. But I can't ever see the UK doing the same can you?
US immigration officers need to get personality implants and some attitude adjustment too. Out of the many times I have visited I have only EVER found one friendly one and that was at Intercontinental in Houston on ONE occasion.
