Why the minuteman are so coward, and why do they refuse to love Democracy and learn a second language?
Who pays them?
Answer:
They may be cowards, but I'll bet they're all members of the NRA!
most of them are on "disability" or some such.
Why do they have to learn a second language? why don't people coming here just learn english?
I believe it's all volunteer, so no pay. I saw some news report about them, it looked to be mostly bored retired people.
They've got nothing else to do and they're xenophobic, afraid of foriegners.
they are probably also afraid of change and diversity...
The ideology of the Minutemen is to maintain the sovereignty of our nation by combating illegal, keyword: ILLEGAL, immigration - from both the south (Mexico) and north (Canada). Each time an illegal immigrant slips through, it strains our system a bit more - be it health care, welfare (yes, illegals can apply for and get awarded welfare), and their refusal to learn English (which further stresses local governments who are pressured by pro-illegal immigration groups to provide documentation, ranging from government information to school things, in both English and Spanish).
And the Minutemen are volunteers. No one pays them. Each and every Minuteman gives up their time, without complaints, to preserve this nation.
What else are a bunch of retired, armed, Americans gonna do with their time? BTW, you guys make great beer!!
Acutally it sounds quite like you are affraid of the Minutemen. Hmmm...wonder who the real coward is.
Why do you people insist that American are too stupid to learn a second language? I'm well on my way to learning German, which is harder to learn than your barrio speech. Stupid my ***!
What makes assisting border enforcement cowardly? How does being a staunch patriot make you not love democracy? Why should we in America learn a second language?
The way I see it, an immigration reform bill came up and the people defeated it. That, my amigo, is democracy in action. By what right do you ask Americans to learn another language when Mexico requires all immigrants to speak their language?
I think it is time for a new bill in Congress. It should simply state that we treat Mexican illegal aliens the way Mexico treats illegal aliens.
Isn't that fair?
.
I dare you to walk up to one, call him a coward to his face, see the response you get.
I'm not a minuteman, but I love the US and so do they.
We do not have to learn a second language...we speak English.
I am paid very well at my job. That is J O B. Something best obtained legally.
Hey, I'm only five feet tall, and weigh 98 lbs. I dare you walk up to my face and call me a coward.
Well you can love democracy all you want, America is not a democracy moron, its a Representative republic. A true democracy is two wolves and a sheep asking whats for dinner.
We won our victory in the highest body in the land last week and were rid of you. Bye
LOL. The Minuteman Project is founded by a guy in his late 50s, a former Marine who won a Purple Heart for service in Vietnam. Doesn't sound too cowardly to me!
Please pass the tequila to the right. You've had enough, Pedro.
Minutemen aren't cowards, they are protecting our borders. They love democracy, that's why they're at the border fighting for it. Do you know how easy it would be for terrorists to get through that border? A democracy is a government by the people; a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system. Did you not hear democracy speak LOUD AND CLEAR when the immigration reform was stopped? Minutemen don't have to be paid. They love their country so much that they do their service for free.
Minutemen believe in the ideology of secure borders and an illegal free environment. We pay our own way, and most of us are multi-lingual. As far as us being cowards...why don't you come find out in person and quit hiding behind your keyboard.
STFU! Why don't those retards coming over our borders illegally learn to speak ENGLISH! This is America. If they want to be AMERICANS they need to learn the language we speak. YOU are the coward!
btw...you can report me...I don't give a s**t!!!!
Minutemen are not needed in Mexico.
Government troops beat and rob illegal aliens before sending them to jail and or deporting them.
We need to adopt Mexican justice for illegal aliens caught in America.

Why do I have to learn the language of the illegal immigrants when I enter legally the US ?
I do not understand
I never asked the US to learn MY language when I came there.
Hard concept, they do it for free because they love their country. They don't hate their country and try to run from it. Their is no second language in American. America = English so assimilate.
They are there on a volunteer basis...Their aim is to safeguard our borders, something our federal govt has refused to do...cowardly? Look who is being the keyboard commando now?

There are an estimated two million Americans residing in Mexico, hordes of Gringos are moving to Mexico...!
Is this an Invasion?
The built a Walmart in MesoAmerican sacret Aztec city of Teotihuacan!!
.
They are trying to protect Americans from being overrun. They do this for free. They are far from being cowards the cowards are those of us that have done nothing to keep illegals from entering our country and ruining our society, as is being done.
I for one am tired of my hard earned money going to welfare benefits for the children of illegals born here everyday.
Go Minute Men Keep Up The Good Work!
Where does following the demands of 20% of the population (actually, far less want a bilingual country) equal democracy?
Let me enlighten you just a little bit since it's obvious that you need it. The minutemen are not cowards, they served their country (THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA) honorably in uniform and continue to do so as civilians. These men are the type that are willing to put their lives on the line to defend what is rightfully theirs.
I can't envision even one of them, under any circumstance, deserting their home country. If things get bad these are the kind of men that one can depend on to make every effort towards improvement. Can you say the same of all the illegal Mexicans coming to the U.S., that have bailed out instead of doing something to improve Mexico? I thought not.
There volunteers like our military patriots
Feel pretty safe calling them names on here don't you Pedro. Americans own this country not your illegal friends and as far as learning a second language, why don't you tell your friends to learn a second language before coming here legally. If it was up to me the Berlin wall would look like chicken wire compared to the wall I would build on our Southern Border.
They are un-American cowards who are not defending their country but fulfilling their own hate inside.
They believe in freedom for Americans, they want secure borders and legal immigration or none, they believe in the American way and would like us all to feel safe in our homes. I don't imagine you've met any or you would not be running your mouth. They are volunteers.
As an American born Hispanic you make me sick.
The US SW has many people who speak both spanish and english but they too dislike you illegals.
This family is one of them. When the Spanish gave us land grants then it became the US we had to fight the legal way to get what we had been given. YOu mexicans are lazy and cheap. You refuse to pay for immigration physicals, applicaion fees, and then have sex with people make babies and flee.
One of my friends who is Spanish speaking American is a proud member of the minuteman.
Mr Segura. Get over yourself. You came to our nation so you adjust. Go back to Mexico. We won the SW fair and square. Here is the treaty. Go back and fix your own dirty nation.
You say the same thing to Canadians. LAZY LAZY!
I thank god everyday for being an American!
Read the treaty and weep.

The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo
In November 1835, the northern part of the Mexican state of Coahuila-Tejas declared itself in revolt against Mexico's new centralist government headed by President Antonio López de Santa Anna. By February 1836, Texans declared their territory to be independent and that its border extended to the Rio Grande rather than the Rio Nueces that Mexicans recognized as the dividing line. Although the Texans proclaimed themselves citizens of the Independent Republic of Texas on April 21, 1836 following their victory over the Mexicans at the Battle of San Jacinto, Mexicans continued to consider Tejas a rebellious province that they would reconquer someday.
In December 1845, the U.S. Congress voted to annex the Texas Republic and soon sent troops led by General Zachary Taylor to the Rio Grande (regarded by Mexicans as their territory) to protect its border with Mexico. The inevitable clashes between Mexican troops and U.S. forces provided the rationale for a Congressional declaration of war on May 13, 1846.
Hostilities continued for the next two years as General Taylor led his troops through to Monterrey, and General Stephen Kearny and his men went to New Mexico, Chihuahua, and California. But it was General Winfield Scott and his army that delivered the decisive blows as they marched from Veracruz to Puebla and finally captured Mexico City itself in August 1847.
Mexican officials and Nicholas Trist, President Polk's representative, began discussions for a peace treaty that August. On February 2, 1848 the Treaty was signed in Guadalupe Hidalgo, a city north of the capital where the Mexican government had fled as U.S. troops advanced. Its provisions called for Mexico to cede 55% of its territory (present-day Arizona, California, New Mexico, and parts of Colorado, Nevada and Utah) in exchange for fifteen million dollars in compensation for war-related damage to Mexican property.
Other provisions stipulated the Texas border at the Rio Grande (Article V), protection for the property and civil rights of Mexican nationals living within the new border (Articles VIII and IX), U.S. promise to police its side of the border (Article XI), and compulsory arbitration of future disputes between the two countries (Article XXI). When the U.S. Senate ratified the treaty in March, it deleted Article X guaranteeing the protection of Mexican land grants. Following the Senate's ratification of the treaty, U.S. troops left Mexico City.
two amnesties are enough. you had your chance in your nation stay out of ours.
SHow me a cowardly Minuteman, and I'll show you how fast illegals can run.
