If you are coming from great britain to the united states what do you need to do?

coming from great britain to the united states , do i need to get a visa in great britain first before coming to the united states or if i plan on getting married to someone in united states how do i go about getting a fiance visa?

Answer:
I don't know but i imagine its easier for someone from Britain being that we are pals and stuff. Welcome aboard
Can I suggest getting on a plane, or is that too simple.
your fiance in the US have to apply for it...But I think well I am sure you just can get a plain ticket and come to US...
If you have a British passport, you can sign a visa waiver form on the plane. You do not need a visa for the US unless you have a criminal record or certain other exceptions. Contact the US Embassy in London if you aren't sure.

They should also be able to inform you about the situation with your fiance. It's not clear from your question what nationality your fiance is. If you are both British and just wish to get married in the US, that is possible straight away in some states (eg Nevada). In others, it may not be.

There is no such thing as a fiance visa for someone who is engaged to a US citizen, as this is an informal and not legally binding arrangement. If you are married to a US citizen you may be able to apply for residency or citizenship.
If you are a British National you can just get on a plane. Though there will be a green landing card that needs to be filled out on board before you land (handed out by the airline during the flight) which then has to be handed over to immigration.
If you plan to marry an American Citizen and then remain in the US then your fiance needs to apply to the Department of Homeland Security for a fiance visa for you. If you come over here without one the chances are you won't be allowed to get a marriage license and they will not let you re-adjust your status in order to become a Permanent Lawful Resident.

To get the Fiance Visa you should visit the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service website (I'll post the link below) and download form I-129F and G-325A. Then I suggest you go to Visa Journey website and look at their how to guide for precise information on how to fill out those forms, how much to pay and where to file.

Once the USCIS has your application they will review it before deciding on whether your fiance can bring you over to get married. If they approve the visa they will send it to the US Visa Centre who will then pass the application to the US Embassy in London. Once the Embassy has the application they will send you information on how to obtain a Police Certificate and a Medical Examination. Eventually you will receive an appointment to go to the Embassy where they will interview you and check all your paperwork. If they approve the application they will hold your passport and return it to you with your visa usually within one week of your interview. The process typically takes anywhere from three to seven months to complete assuming you file your paperwork correctly and they don't ask for further evidence.

You need to have your head examined! THAT'S WHAT YOU WANT TO DO! Good riddance to you & have fun in Dubya's realm.
To enter the U.S. you now need visas for travel here, or they put you right back on the plane to go back.
You also need to apply for visa to get married, and stay here for 2 years. Expect at least 6 months to couple years for all paper work to go through.

it all on this site, the answers.
