I have a mutual fund in the U.S.A., If I add my girlfriend as a beneficiary will it help her to get a B2 Visa?
I need this info because she was denied the first time because she did not have money in a bank! What a stupid immigration officer he must have been, he refused to look at her affidavit of support papers and denied her immediately.. . Now we are going to make some changes to show stronger ties to her country..
1) I already gave her money and she opened a bank account in Mexico
2) She is getting her father's apartment put into her name.
3) Her mom has land (10 hectares) in Mexico and she will put it into my girlfriends name
4) She is going to sign up for a couple classes at the best school in Acapulco, Mexico.
5) My family and I will send her a letter of invitation
There is clearly nothing else she can do to prove to these officers she will not abandon her country but I think she will still be denied her second application.
Answer:
Unfortunately because it will still be at the discretion of the Immigration officer to give her a visa, no of this really matters. But, the more she can show tying her to Mexico the better it will be for her.
R u retarded or just naive. Dont ever put anyone as a beneficiary.
Giving her money, making her your beneficiary and almost everything else you have done makes it look more and more as if her real ties are to you, not to Mexico. All the things her family has done make her look simply desperate to go and be with you. Who would believe that she owns all that property, especially since all the titles were issued and the deposits made so recently, all at once. Consular officers learn to recognize this pattern before they get out of Visas 101.
But then, you refused to believe me before, so do as you please.
