Answer:
Hi there,

There is a very good website (from British High commissions around the world) which explains every step in details.

Links is below.

http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/servlet/front?...

Please ask your friend to go through it and it will answer all the quetsions. With this there will be no need to go to any travel agent and spend a lot of money to get the visas.

This site also explains about the documents needed from your side. It will be worth for you to go through as well so that you know in advance what is required from your side.

Good Luck.

Regards
I know a guy - It'll cost you about two grand - no one will ever be able to tell the difference between it and the real thing......
your friend needs to check the uk embassy's website in his country, there're infos about the address of embassy and documents requested for various types of visa.
you should send him invitation & he should contact your embassy in his country
your boyfriend has to check with uk embassy in his counry about the tourist/visit visa and he might need an invitation from you and better if it will be an official invitation - this will help him much to gurantee the visa - enjoy
