I am hoping from the grammar skills of this sentence that English is not your primary language. It is not smart to think that someone who only speaks one language isn't smart based on just this one fact. Some of the dumbest people I know are bi-lingual.

I don't believe they are not really smart, I know many peopel who speak only one language and are very intelligent. However, my father always told me that you stand for two people when you know two languages and so on and you can communicate at a larger scale of people.

First of all the way you stated your question was not very smart. Second of all, people who are bilingual are not any more intelligent than people who speak one language. Many people who were born and raised in the United States were not taught a second language until they entered Jr High School, which is around the age of 11 for most, and the neurons in your brain that determine language are done firing by that point, so it is really difficult to learn a new language. When you learn one language your brain becomes programmed with that language and all of its components such as the sounds you make to speak and it is done developing about halfway through elementary school. When you are taught a couple of language when you're really young you get a combination of these components wired into your brain and it is easier to learn other languages then.
Just because someone has had the advantage of learning a language at a young age does not make that person more intelligent. I only speak English because I could not learn Spanish for the life of me and I just finished my freshman year of college and I have a 3.7 GPA, in the top 20% of my class, and I got into Nursing School right off the bat because of how well I did in high school.
So maybe you should look into your ignorant thoughts a little more before you make an idiot of yourself.

Just a guess from out of the blue, you're here illegally aren't you? Learn the language this great country was founded on and respect the laws, or would you prefer to go back to Mexico?
