The only problem is that this girl wasnt even sure if she would go to college cuz she would not get accepted. I was like WTF why? and she told me that b-cuz she was an illegal immigrant that had come to this country 5 yrs ago by herself to live w/ a friend of the family.. Idk after I found out about this i was shocked cuz she told me this girl CANNOT get any kind of financial aid, NO scholarships, NO nothing.
So can u plz tell me wat u thought about this girl BEFORE u know she was an immigrant and AFTER u found out

Since you posted this in immigration, it was obvious where you were going with your little s o b story.
Simply response is: why reward someone who has so little respect for our laws, that she is here illegally?
Has she thought of this option? Return to home nation, reapply for legal status. The consequences of law-breaking are punitive, not rewarding.
Simple fact: She is not a Texan or US citizen.
What about a black, brown or white American kid who isin the 11th percent because they have a grade-point average one-hundredth of a percent below her and others like her, but would be top ten % if the illegals weren't there? They shouldn't lose out because of a law-breaker.
She is a smart criminal. She should do well back in her home country.
Please tell me why she doesn't have to abide by the same laws as everyone else. Why does she get a break when others don't. Either we are a country of laws or we aren't. You decide.

I feel bad for your friend, I really do. But we can't start making exceptions. Scholarships are things to help out US citizens.
If she really wants to be an American she can go into the military service. After serving the country she will be eligible to become a citizen.

I wouldn't expect a foreign government to accommodate me if I broke their laws by entering their country illegally and continued to spit on their right to enforce their own law.
Nobody ever said life was fair, but how many other Americas in general never get to go to college due to lack of money.. She can go to college only she will have to pay it forward. I don't believe she just realized she was an immigrant most familes have plan in place as they realize one day ICE may come knocking. She will have do what others do, work a job to pay for college,that's all which is holding her back funds.

This is a very sad story. Lots of Americans are rejected from going to college for a huge variety of reasons,it's not all that unusual to be unable to attend.The sad part is that she is an illegal, and that is sad,she should have known better and tried for some sort of legal status earlier than this. She could get married to an American, then she would be legal, then she could go to college.
Look she has already leached off our taxpayers for the past 5 years now she is complaining She is here "ILLEGALLY" tell her to go back home and get her people to rally against their government instead of rallying here for a free ride.
Or you can tell her to move to europe and get her citizenship there they get to go to college for free and pay hardly nothing for their healthcare.
Foreign Nationals ARE attending American colleges Legally,
seems your friend could either apply via her own nationality,
or apply to be an American citizen and get the freebies
legally. Illegal is Illegal and deserves no further explanation
