Why Italian people are so racist with immigrants or with others nationality?
most italians migrated to America to find a better job so italian too are immigrants and they can't be racist with other immigrants.

Not every Italian person is racist, but unfortunately some are. Sadly, there is racism in every country. Americans are not racists? WTF! The US has a long history of being racist. I'm sorry you have to deal with some racist Italians.
You answered your own question in the first sentence. You said "some." Not all are racist and for those that are, I can't speak to their motivations.
I lived in Italy for two years and felt very welcome. I had many Italian friends. All I did was try to be the kind of person I would like to have as a friend and that seemed to work for me.

I've never experienced that from Italian people, but I don't live in an area where there is a predominance of any particular group of any particular sector of immigrants. I'm sorry if you have been discriminated against.
Here's the thing, how exactly do you expect the Italians to treat you? Your statement sounded rather overly generalizing. What do you mean by "Most Italians migrated to America ..and they can't be racist with other immigrants"?? First of all, not most Italians immigrated to America, and those who stayed in Italy are not immigrants. Secondly, the Italians can be as racist or not racist as much as they want, it's a free country.

I wouldn't go far as to say they're racists, but they're definitely nationalistic. Just like the rest of Europe.
Very true. Some Italians like from Siciliy are very dark. And they came to the U.S. in the 1920's are were also discriminated. Many of them had to turn to crime and the mafia.
The sad thing is that many of them now want to be racist against the new immigrants. Like the American politician, Tancredo who looks like a brown illegal, but treats Mexicans and other immigrants like crap.

The Italian want there country back, in Italy we are full of immigrant and we start to feel suffocate about this problem.
The USA is big country and they have not problem to give hospitalize to immigrant. Most of immigrant that came to the USA are legally in Italy they are not.
