Is this really the land of the free or the home of the confused?

WE claim to be the land of the free and the home of the brave yet with each passing year we seem to be less free and more confused.Explain to me why my child cant get a drivers license at 16 its 17 now but at 18 if they are "brave" they are old enough to be sent off to die for their country and if they are lucky enough to make it back alive with all their mental bearings they still arent old enough to decide weather they want to drink a beer or not??? And if this is a free country why is it when I visit friends in Mexico I cant invite them to visit me in my home -im sorry my dear friends my country is too full of its self and they dont want you?! Where will we find citizens who will do the work the Mexicans will do-no where i should know i deal with it daily! If people would get over the " because im an American" ego an awnser could be found! And why if you spank your child you are a bad parent but every awnser to misbehavior at school is the paddle?the laws are too jumbled and overlap

Well,guess you could always move? I was raised a poor child,worked hard so my kids could have better,Im middle class now,I feel for the parents who have kids at war,I would rather pay more for oil to save just one,but,Im not a politician. My freedom in America gives me the right to protest illegals,although that right is killing me as far as my taxes go. You say I should get over my ego,but,I have lost family members to have the freedoms I have I have worked and respected this country,I feel its my right as an American to expect nothing less from anyone else who comes here,is that so wrong?

Did you know that Interstate 35 leads into Mexico? Did you know that Kennedy Airport has departing flights. Miami has boats leaving every day. If it is so bad here, why don't you go where things are the way you want them? The old saw of 17 and 18 year olds dying for their country and not being able to drink was asked 60 years ago. Give it a rest.

I think you have a point. However us "Americans" don't get it sometimes unless it actually happens to us...for example: I will NEVER go out int he HOT a** air and pick cucumbers or etc. One time I had to because, I was out of school and I wanted some money..(I was 12 at the time) out topping tobacco. I am PROUD my people take that chance to go out and do stuff like that in the fields, so that all of us can just go to our local grocery store and BUY IT IN THE AIR CONDITION. Anyways to a make a LONG story short....STOP BITCHING PEOPLE ABOUT ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS and take "your" butts out there and work. If you don't want these people here!!!!
