Is selling flowers a job Americans won't do?
I asked my neighbor if he would like to join my company so he could earn some extra money. He is saving up for a car. I told him that I would need him to sell flowers at the traffic lights on the weekend and he said he will pass.
Why are Americans too lazy to sell flowers?

If somebody wanted to buy flowers, they'd go to a flower shop, not buy them off some grungy looking guy at the freeway onramp/offramp!

No Americans sell flowers. It's called a florist. Plus they sometimes have carts at the side of a road...but they get a permit to do it and some areas don't allow it. We have laws that prohibit annoying people from trying to do business in unsafe places.....like at traffic lites. Don't try it here.....they'll mow you over.
I'm not allowed to sell vegetables that I've grown at the end of my drive-way. Not because I'm lasy but because there's LAWS that say I can't.

They aren't. They are called florists. It is a billion dollar industry. The majority of florists are college educated legal citizens/immigrants.
