Do you think that absolutely all illegal Mexicans should be deported?
Answer:
No. There are alot of occupations that illegal immigrants have, that most Americans wouldn't consider. They break their backs doing these jobs and I don't think it's fair to deport the hard workers. Who is going to take over these jobs if/when all illegals get deported? There are plenty of positive things that are supposed to come out of the deportation of illegals, but has the U.S. seriously considered the consequences? I don't think so.
YES
Unless they have gon through the process to become citizens, then yes, if they've made a liveyhood and act like american citizens, then yeah.
nope, but that doesnt mean that some shouldnt....this may suprise many of you, to hear me say this, but there are some illegals here in the US that i feel should be sent to their country of origin, but they are very few.
Hell Yea, all illegal Aliens need be deported maybe Congress need Pass President Bush Guest Worker Program!!!
yeah...you'd be surprised who is illegal i guess. but i do think back in the 80's ronald reagan legalized a great number of immigrants....so if people did what they needed to, there shouldn't be too many people over the age of 20 who are grew up here, and are also illegal
YES !!!!!
then put Landmines on the border !!!!!!
Do you think that absolutely all illegal Mexicans should be deported?
YES!!!!!!!
Yes all illegal aliens should be deported. They knew the consequences if they got caught.
A bank robber doesn't get to keep out of jail if he pops out a couple of kids. Why should illegal aliens?
yES , YES AND YES !!!!! What about the word ILLEGAL don't you understand ?
No!
Well I believe that the "illegals" that are already here should be able to stay in America, to work and make a living. However not to be able to come and go as they please. Now for the ones that are coming over here (as we speak) Lol.....they should be caught and turned away. I believe the government should come up with a Visa or something like an ID for ALL illegals in this country (Not just "MEXICANS") so the government knows who suppose to be here. Maybe this will help everyone involve.
There may be a selected few that deserve to be allowed to apply for citizenship. There are always mitigating circumstances in every situation. But if you have the time and money to sort through the "good illegals" them why do you think that mass deportations couldn't be accomplished at the same time.It would take years to check the worthy along with the unworthy. The time and cost effectiveness of such an undertaking would be a
monumental.
How do you separate the good from the bad is what I'm asking?
I think if your are not an American Indian you should shut your yap and thank God the United States of American exists.
Bush and his Republican vampires should tear down the statue of Liberty and use the parts to build his version of the Berlin wall along the Rio Grande. Take that plaque that says "give us your huddled masses" and use it for a door in this latest Replublican scam to steal tax dollars while the Bushwacker's still in office.
The idea of a wall on the Southern Border of the United States is about as stupid as the tax payers getting the bill. The Republicans will rack in a couple hundred billion to pay for it, put up a chain link fence and the tax payers will get cleaned out again. We have morons running our country.
Absolutely. And strengent measures should be taken to discourage their return like transporting them to southern Mexico.
You forget that thousands of illegal immigrants also come in from Asia, Europe, Africa, and the UK --
It is easy to send someone back to Mexico or Canada, but deporting someone to say, Laos, would be very expensive for the U.S.
Everyone who is not a legal citizen of the U.S. should be sent back to wherever they came from. It's nice to see people on the street who speak English.. which is RARE here..
If they are here illegaly and taking advantage of free health care, driving around with no insurance, ruining public schools because they won't learn English, not paying taxes, and sending all their money back to Mexico, then yes, they should be deported. Those that are established here and are in the process of becoming citizens, I don't have a problem with them staying as long as they are paying taxes, pay for their own health care, etc...
No. There are some "illegals" who, as you say, were brought here as small children & some don't even know how to speak Spanish because we push so much for them to conform & learn English. Where would they go? What would they do? How would they survive? I know the anti-illegals don't give a crap ("NOT MY PROBLEM -huff) but as a Christian who abides by God's laws which are higher than mans I see that as cruel & inhumane punishment. What has happened to compassion? What about basic human decency?
Yes, they really should be ...but if you were born and raised in the US...maybe not...
No, only the ones who are murders and rapist and child molesters ect.
We would not have to deport any of them if we just in-forced the laws we already have, which would dry up the jobs, they will leave on their own. We already have a guest worker program started during Reagan's time but seldom used because it is easier to come across the boarder illegally. If someone has been here illegally 15 years they still broke the law in coming here, if I rob a bank 15 years later I can still be sent to prison. Either we are a nation of laws or we are not, which ones do we choose to in-force and which ones do we ignore. Keep in mind that Mexico is not a poor nation, it is just so corrupt that the wealth does not get down to average Mexican, they are the richest nation in Latin America and can well afford to make things better for their people but would rather ship their poor up here and let us deal with them. I live on the boarder and can tell you that many of the boarder city's are controlled by the drug lords killings happen everyday to anyone including the police that get in their way, if we can not control our boarders that crime can and will move north, if we do not fix this problem now, in a very short few years this country will look just like Mexico
In a word, yes. If they came here illegally,no matter how long ago it was, then yes they should be deported.
my only point is... one illegal mexican that works his or her *** off to pay for their parents back in their country is worth more than all uneducated people that dont think before giving their answers... Im an american and I feel ashamed of how my government treats illegal immigrants in this country, how they give them citizenships if they get into the army and go to Irak... it makes me feel ashamed of how these "americans" even dare to speak about such matters..
No, I don't. What about the ones who own homes? What about the ones who work and support their families without government hand outs. I think it should be looked at case by case.
America is a country where quality of life is important. Let's face it, people are a product of their environment. While I respect the good people of Mexico and their culture.... they often times bring their low standard of life to America with them.
I do not like that my neighbors use the excuse that they are poor to avoid being clean or to apply for a job. Any person who is really interested in becoming American should act accordingly... America is the land of opportunity, and any able bodied person is capable of supporting themselves without relying on taxpayers dollars.
Any Mexican citizen (or any citizen from any country, for that matter) who is willing to learn the language, support quality of life, and work for a living should have a chance at citizenship.
Living in America illegally is a small crime, but snowballs into a larger crime as they steal identities, fraudulently claim welfare, or commit any other type of petty crimes or even felonies to make a living. It would be impossible to catch each and every person illegally entering the country.... but It would be feasible to start deportations for those who are caught committing crimes. This would inevitably filter out the illegal immigrants who are actually causing the problems.
Yes everyone of them should be deported. The key work in that question is illegal. They are breaking United States law. For many of them it's not the only law they have broken here. They should all be sent back to Mexico. If they were decent people, they would do what is necessary to be here legally and not try to circumvent the system.
If an Illegal Alien was under 18 when their parents illegally crossed the border, they still are illegal. Their parents chose to become criminals, they should be punished twice for their actions, they put a child's life in jeopardy, and for what reason, because they decided to break the law.
So, if any young Illegal was brought here by their parents, blame them for your insecurities for not knowing if you will be deported or not.
It's not the problem of the U.S. citizens, we can't let you stay just because you were wronged by your parents. Your parents new the situation they were putting you in before they decided to cross our borders illegally, and they still decided to cross.
RESPONSE:
Sorry but they only have their parents to blame. They can not be treated any differently, their parents made them Illegals, are they mad at their parents for turning them into criminals, probably not. What is school going to do for them, they don't have ss#'s unless they steal one or make one up. See what kind of mess their parents put them in. The parents should of realized the effects their actions were going to be in the long run, and they didn't, so whose fault is that other than their own.
Its their parents responsibilty to show them the way back, and to re-introduce them to their homeland. It's the least they could do, after all they took them from their homeland illegally.
To Madre_De: You should be proud of yourself, you are a true racist! My views are soley about illegal immigtration, I never singled out just one race. But you my friend pulled out the race card, it just shows your ignorance.
