How would an American go about moving to and gaining citizenship in Canada?

Answer:
First you need to find a job and apply for residency. Canada likes to give residency to people who have college degrees, or speak french fluently. You should also have some skill if not a college degree, so if you are an electrician you will probably get in.
Canada doesnt like to accept unskilled laborers, they have too many of those already.
1. Apply for residency.
2. Apply for jobs and find an apartment.
3. Once your in, your in.
Go to the Canada national webpage.
I don't know, but if the new Immigration Bill passes, I'm immigrating out of the USA.
1st get your head examined then give your citizenship to an illegal who would appreciate it.
