Huh... after reading comments by folks like mexican and mexicans are the best?

it makes me wonder, why are you here to begin with? If this country is so awful why dont you leave? I am not trying to start anything really. I am all for amnesty and revamping the immigration laws as I live in phx az. I live and work with these people. The crazy thing is... they appreciate being here. So... if you dont, why stay?

Answer:
To all those above me that claim "it's OUR land" ... wrong! All the land was purchased, it's called the Louisiana Purchase :The Louisiana Purchase was the acquisition by the United States of approximately 530 million acres (828,000 sq mi or 2,100,000 km²) of French territory in 1803, at the cost of about 3¢ per acre (7¢ per ha); totaling $15 million or 80 million French francs. Including interest, America finally paid $23,213,568 for the Louisiana territory.[1] The land purchased contained all of present-day Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Minnesota south of Mississippi River, much of North Dakota, nearly all of South Dakota, northeastern New Mexico, northern Texas, the portions of Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado east of the Continental Divide, and Louisiana on both sides of the Mississippi River, including the city of New Orleans. (The Oklahoma Panhandle, and southwestern portions of Kansas and Louisiana were still claimed by Spain at the time of the Purchase.) In addition, the Purchase contained small portions of land that would eventually become part of the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan. The land included in the purchase comprises around 23% of the territory of the modern United States.[1] The purchase was an important moment in the presidency of Thomas Jefferson. At the time, it faced domestic opposition as being possibly unconstitutional. Although he felt that the Constitution did not contain any provisions for acquiring territory, Jefferson decided to purchase Louisiana because he felt uneasy about France and Spain having the power to block American traders' access to the port of New Orleans.
They are here for the hand outs
don't want to live in their beloved crap hole.
Our land!
My personal belief is it's generational racism. People are taught hate. I see it day to day as well, and it (illegal immigration) seems to be a bigger deal in LA, the South and the Midwest than the AZ/CA border. Latino/as make up 76 percent of the population in my area. The last school I worked with was 86. Students had to have their minds changed about me becoming their teacher; just as many of the people on this site need a little first hand experience.
ya there so great look at there former country if there such great people mexico wouldnt be trash would it?
Ummm, by OUR land, you do mean that American land is American's land, right, Band?
I would guess that it is great to be Mexican, IF you don't have to live in Mexico. Because evidently the country that started out chalk full of Mexicans is emptying out, they are all here. Maybe it is great to be Mexican if you can break into a better country then demand that the citizens there do things your way, speak your language, and give you all the benefits you want to have. Then you can fly your flag above ours, and pretend that all is good for us.
But OUR land is the land of the AMERICANS, not the illegals.
By the way, do they appreciate being here, or do they appreciate all that is done for them by way of social services and the chance to send millions of dollars back to Mexico?

33 billion dollars sent from USA to Mexico since Jan. 2006. THAT is what they appreciate. Do they want to come here and become Americans? No, they are here to take over.

I live in a border state. They aren't like the legal immigrants of old times. They aren't here to live in a better country and become part of that country. They are here to bring more and more illegals here. Power in numbers, a quiet takeover.
Why stay? You can't take over the USA from the rathole to the south.
The Latinos on this site are embaressingly ignorant. It was the land of Mexico until the Battle of San Jacinto in Texas, shortly after the Alamo fiasco in 1836. Santa Anna was caputured and in order to save his own skin, he signed over Texas (which was a lawless frontier) New Mexico and part of California. Sam Houston and the boys could have taken ALL of Mexico! The United States got that territory via blood sweat and tears, via war.

For my fellow Latinos, this country you enjoy is now a sovereign nation made of laws, earned by the people who sacrfised to create it. because it once was part of Mexico doesn't give anyone the right to break the law now.

It would be like me selling you a car, then a year down the road I take the car back (with a spare key I saved) because it was once mine. Many countries were gotten through war, the past is the past, let it go. And be thankful to be here!
You have to realize on here that a lot of the people are so-called "trolls" and they are not really immigrants or Mexicans or illegal immigrants of any kind. There are a lot of people on here who are only here to try to incite others. I identify them, block them, and pay them no mind whatsoever. You should do so, too. They are NOT important and there are others on here who do have important opinions or information that you should be paying attention to.
Why should I leave my own country, If you do no not like being around Mexicans go back to your own country. my family lived in this country before it was America, when the population of Mexicans,Blacks and Native Americans grow.
the white flight will began, and we will again be the majority of our America and I hope we remember to protect and serve all Americans, regardless of ethnic background.,not like the diseased politicians that we will have replaced.

It is obvious some of you anti's have a lack of intelligence, that limits your responses to the gutter level, that indicates their lack of knowledge ,when ever they have a limitation in their capacity for a logical response, they are unable to attack the logic so they, attack me,
As a Hispanic, I love this country and it has been very good to my family, legal immigrants from Mexico.I don't, for a second, take my citizenship for granted. However, I think you find very defensive, Mexican and Hispanic individuals here, who feel targeted day and night, get called the scum of the earth, etc for being Mexican...It spills over to just regular Mexican Americans..I am sick of all the hate mongering and racial slurs that are thrown at Mexicans and it is not right.YOU cannot deny this goes on everyday in this forum...I know many Mexicans respond the wrong way and get racist back.I don't like this either! I don't agree with the whole US stole Mexico nonsense. But please don't come here and somehow think Mexicans just decided to be racists unprovoked, because I see it everyday on this forum...
Well if you are all for amnesty, why do you care what these illegals say or do? One day you will realize that they hate you even more than those of us who are open with our disrespect and disdain for them. They know what and who they are and they only want what you have, not you. So live in the real world and realize that you are nothing to them but a gringo. I wish they'd all go home, they are not wanted nor invited.
The majority of the mexicans in this country are racist and don't want anything except handouts. I can't count the number of times i've heard"we will kill the gringos, drive them out and take the U.S.".
Don't get me wrong though, this isn't all of them, there are some really great legal mexicans who do love this country and work hard for the American dream.
"our land" is what they say...LOL.but us americans cleaned it up and gave it a reason.

they ruined there country so ther emoving onto anouther. Mexico is filthy, trash and you can tell they dont care a rats *** about there country.
