No, I stopped caring shortly after stepping foot in this immigration forum last May. If being against illegal immigration makes me a racist (ooooh... I'm sooo scared of that word, I think I'll just crawl off and die) then so be it.
And I'm sick to death of Whites being the only ones capable of being the BIG 'R' word. That is a TOTAL lie. These days, it's the African Americans and the Hispanics who are the MOST racist humans - against Whites. It's all too clear that they hate our guts. But that's okay. Perfectly fine and dandy, right? UGH it makes me sick.
And yeah, I know what you mean about being ran out of your own house and neighborhood by them. I've been there, done that. But I'll tell you one thing, it's not happening again. Me and my neighbors won't allow it where we live. Yeah, we live out in the boondocks where a lot of people have lived for 50+ years and it will be a cold day in hell before anyone other than a White moves here. They have tried a couple of times in the past and IT DID NOT WORK and it never will again. That is a fact.
Yes, I know my words are offending but until you have been forced to move out of a once great neighborhood because of others moving in, bringing their gangs, and crime, then you have no right to say anything. If you haven't lived through the heartbreak of it, just shut up cause you have no idea.

Yes. I would hate it if anyone thought of me as a racist. I have worked too hard at being tolerant of others. Maybe that is because I am a teacher and must treat everyone with respect regardless of his or her skin color or ethnicity. I am proud that I am able to do that.
I dont believe in giving amnesty to millions of illegals either. If our corporate pig politicians pass something like that, we need to revolt

Acculturation of any immigrant group into the mainstream of society takes generations. Give it time, and don't apply your preconcieved notions of minorities to the groups as a whole. Remember, minorities are human too. I am one, and an immigrant, too. (born in India, but raised in the US since a very young age.) Do you hate me, then? Should I leave? I'm a citizen, my parents are too, they make six figures and pay taxes, and are model immigrants. You shouldn't hate everyone just because of the actions of a few.

The illegals are going where the work is. We have an immigration problem because people are hiring illegal immigrants, and the laws designed to prevent this behavior are rarely enforced, and whey they are people just get a slap on the wrist.
If the jackasses hiring illegal immigrants were to be stopped by say tossing most of them in jail for a few years, then the jobs would dry up.
Once the jobs dry up, the illegals will leave.
At that point, you would be left with neighbors who were born in the country, naturalized or otherwise here legally. Mind you, that probably won't change the racial makeup of your neighborhood. I'm surprised how common it is for people to just blindly assume someone who is Hispanic MUST be an immigrant, even when that person came form a family that has been in the country for generations.

It doesn't bother me at all because I know that this is a legal issue and not a race issue. Those that throw the race card are only demonstrating their desperation. Since thay can't logically or rationally debate an issue that begins with the word "illegal", they use what they have, which is basically nothing but name calling.

I totally agree with you on this one. I live in an upper middle class neighborhood. Across the street there is a single family home with 3 Mexican families living in the house. I guess they do this, so they can afford to live there. Anyway, they hate everyone in the neighborhood, and often they'll call names. These people are so full of hate that they even attack the Mexican American family living next door to us, calling him an "uppity." He works hard, wife stays home with the kids... Last weekend they were playing their gang rap music as loud as it would go (the teens that live there). Someone called the police on them. Anyway, my boys were playing with the next door neighbor kids. After the police leave, one of the women in the neighbors from hell house runs to the side walk and screams at all the little kids, "Did ju call the cops on us?!! Well, I'm gonna call the cops on your putta moms!!" They're made to keep the house up and the yard by the city, but they hate everyone. The men will often times yell, "We're all about the La Raza!" I just don't get it and no matter how hard you try to be nice to these people, it just makes their behavior even worse! But yet, you and I are the racists.

If being anti illegal and no amnesty makes me a racist in some peoples eyes then so be it. I know it has nothing to do with race. It is the fact that they broke the law and should not be rewarded with amnesty.
As a Republican I will most always be called a racist. My best man for 4 and a half years and best friend of 19 years will just laugh alongside me as I'm called a racist. I forgot to mention that my best friend is black and owns his own landscaping business! Eat that one libbies!

i agree with you. and no i do not care what they call me or say about me. as long as they don't say it to my face they are safe. we need to demand our govt enforce the immigration laws we already have. i know i was on the phone for 3 days straight demanding.
