Why Mexican Spanish-speaking TV's in USA (Univision & Telemundo) show so many palid people ?
Aren't they proud of the bronze/tan/brown color of most Latin American people ?

Mexico has a lot of racism toward the darker skin people. If you ask them, they will all claim to be Spanish or part Spanish descendants. As for the women on those channels, MUY CALIENTE!
i dont know why they do. some are born looking white.. while others try to be blonde and fake blue eyes.. i don't get it!

Not all Mexicans are brown. Am Mexican and my mother has white skin and green eyes, her dad has colored eyes, her brother has colored eyes and they too have white skin...and yeah they ARE MEXICAN! For TV they have to put the pretty people on. So if all they can find is nice light skinned people then so be it. They aren't going to hire a ugly person.
That's a trip,I didn't realize there was a preference for lighter skin in Mexican t.v.And yes,those dancers on some of those shows are hot.But most Latinas are chubby,and that must be an insult to their race .
please dont stereotype them! my mom is mexican she has blue eyes and light brown hair and light skin but it's cause my grandparents where russians and irish and they immagrated to mexico for a while.my dad is russian aswell but his parents went to U.S but either way dont stereotype mexicans..(there women are beutiful!!)
