Is an affidavit of support preferred if filing spouse does not meet annual income requirement?

If your spouse (US Citizen) is currently unemployed or working part time, would you still need an affidavit of support when filing sponorship for spouse (non citizen) if that spouse (non citizen) made more than 120% over the poverty level as is required by uscis??

Answer:
you still need it and if your spouse makes less than 16,000 dollars a year then you need to find someone else who makes more than $16,000/year (single)

your attorney should be able to explain that to you
That still wont help you and you gonna need a joint -sponsor ( for example a relative from the american spouse )
