If the Mexicans had the desire to make their country a shining beacon of the world, then you would see a much different spirit and attitude in that country.... and wouldn't have all these people abandoning it for America.
The solution is to change the people. But that can never happen. So we should wall the border off and force Mexico to deal with its own cultural and population problems
There is no real solution many people think they have the answers, but ther isn't one cut-and-dry solution that will work...why do you think the Congress keeps postponing the issue? Sealing the borders isn't enough, fining businesses that employ illegals isn't enough, creating a National ID is a horrid idea. We need a real plan to make immigration work.

First find out if they mean legal or illegal immigration there is a difference . Legal immigration is coming into this country with the correct papers and are welcome .
Where as illegal immigration is braking the laws of America and coming into this country without legal papers and are not welcome , they will be sent home .
Congress and Bush will do nothing about closing the borders because of NAFTA Superhighway , where goods will come from China to Mexico through the Midwest and into Canada without inspection and with Mexican truck drivers .
