We shouldn't for a number of reasons.
To be brief I will list only three.
Disrespect for our laws is a given due their illegal entry. I have no sympathy for the ones who have been here years and years...that was just more time for them to take steps to become legal and they didn't bother.
We cannot afford the burden they will place on Medicare or Social Security. Face it, if a 60 year old illegal is granted amnesty, he will be drawing benefits in just a few years after we pay for most of our lives.
Amnesty has NEVER worked. It only encourages more and more to come believing they too will be granted amnesty in a few years. We need to draw the line now. No more amnesty.
No benefits, no jobs, enter legally or not at all.

Good point. However, the solution isn't that easy. Deporting THAT many people would incite some much chaos it would be a disaster!

Nefertari-Congress wanted to spend 2.6 trillion dollars on this bill..we needed another bill to do that? Why not use those funds to deport illegals and finish building that fence...

If caught, they need to be sent to a work camp until they can earn enough money to pay the cost of plane fare for us to ship them back to the capital city of whatever country they came from and dump them off on their own governments.

Plus, they have committed a civil violation. Plus, if they came here illegally, that means they "have committed a crime," they aren't doing it everyday.
