Business profiting from illegals would have to pony up to pay American wages, most of which would want beyond minimum wage. Business would suffer, which turns into economy suffers. In the long term, many business would close down or leave the US.

There are a lot of low income, service sector jobs that would open up.
ex. dishwasher, cook, bus boy, landscaping, garbage removal, roofing, construction
There are many sides to this issue. If you own a construction company hiring a few day laborers can save you a lot of money. In a sense they are good because they are hard workers trying to make a living. Yet there are stealing jobs from many hard working Americans who are willing to work these service sector jobs. The problem with this country is that Americans demand a high paying salary because this country is very expensive to live in.
It depends how you approach it.

As I already saw on another question regarding the same topic, It happened in one state, over 120 illegals were rounded up at a plant and deported. The next day, over 300 people were lined up to take those jobs.
To say that they are underpaid and overworked is stereotyping. I know many people of all races and nationalities who are underpaid and overworked and then there are also many who are overpaid and underworked. Then there are a few who work hard and get paid well.
Nationwide, you might see a few glitches and slowdowns but not much. The problem would be when the fat cat corporations decide to move with them and try to set up plants in other countries because they don't want to pay good value for good work.
I am so sick of the lame argument "jobs no one else will do." You know why they won't do them? Because illegal aliens have driven down the wages!! Who the hell did the jobs before all the illegals invaded the country?!?!

I don't know. What was it like before the invasion? I seem to remember the 80's and 90's were a heck of a lot better that recent times. I wonder who did all the "jobs Americans wont do" before the illegal invasion? Do you know? I think it was American citizens.
Look at all the American companies that have already moved out of the US into Mexico...why don't they go and work there? The economy would survive as would this country...all illegals have to be deported...let their government take care of them, since they send 10 million dollars per year home (to Mexico) like our government is suppose to take care of us (Americans - legal that is)...this issue is going to get worse before it gets better and our government is going to make it worse by signing this "new bill".if they would enforce the laws we already have on the books, this would have been resolved years ago... as for securing our borders, that was suppose to have already been done...duh, where have we "dumb" Americans been all these years while our government is coming up with all this "new" crap to shove down our throats? Wake up and get out and demonstrate for what is right.the illegals demonstrate, disgrace our flag and they seem to be getting what they want..bottom line..DEPORT THEM ALL AND SECURE OUR BORDERS..
What a beautiful vision. Crime would go down but since they would only be gone for a week employers would hold their position for the cheap labor.
If they were gone for an extended leave however,American people would have real wages,the middle class would come back,taxes would lower,less unemployment,better education etc.
