If what you claim is true, then you are correct that is a total
hypocricy. However, I disagree with your supposition that
those against illegal immigrants are the ones who protect
and help them stay in the country. The influx of illegal
immigrants is the result of some who connive with human
smugglers in crossing the borders and many times thru
issuance of fake passports and other official documents.
We have rights to & you american's try to run everything.

No. They are different people. Those who use services like public education and HMOs, and those who don't, but get money from driving down wages while draining those services through their illegal work force.

You have your American stereotypes wrong. It's the pro illegals that want the illegals here to exploit them. The antis want the illegals gone so they can get their jobs back. You're twisting things around to blame the wrong group. There are already laws on the books to cover all aspects of immigration but they aren't being followed. The only law not on the books is English as official language.

Anyone with common sense would have known - the Immigration reform bill was a bogus BS attempt by both parties to placate their political bases. The Republicans can say they kept the illegals from gaining amnesty and at the same time tell big business, we kept you supplied with a low wage workforce. The Democrats can say to the unionist and Latinos, we needed more of the Republicans to vote with us - so we need to vote them out cause they wouldn't do anything about Illegal migration and low wages.
It's a Win-Win issue for both parties, only an idiot would think this issue will not be used before the elections again next year - after all, both parties have to raise more "election" money.

For the past few weeks you have executed the most vibrant display on this issue that you could muster. Now with your claim to be in the United States illegally I understand your thinking. By not being a citizen of this country you are not afforded the exclusive right, privilege nor luxury to even be a participant in this process. Not once did you ever think of how a bill of this nature could affect this entire country and every one of her citizens. Your thought in this matter concerned you and only you. You claim to "love" and "appreciate" this country. Yet your thoughts, words and actions speak differently. Here, a country who has provided you with the wonderful life you lead and your thought of repayment and respect is, "To heck with what this bill could do to this country as long as I get MY legal status". I think illegals should be happy the bill did not pass because now they have their chance to go back home and come here legally, plus sponser ALL family members if they want.
The bill would have brought all illegals out of the woodwork, then limit their sponsership to just their spouses and children.
They may have been granted amnesty (with a large fine and after they return home and wait in line). But they can do that right now and not have to pay the fine. So they were not really going to do what was required in that bill anyway.

We can't deport them all back home, and they can't remain illegal forever. They have to be legalized no matter what anybody thinks. But these anti-illegals still insist we deport them and how we can and all that crap. They don't want to face the true facts.
