What is life like in Mexico or other Hispanic countries?

I would really like answers from Hispanics or someone with real information. I know a lot of Americans are angry that so many Hispanics are here. It makes me sick to hear most American opinions on this issue. Many of our ancestors came here for a better life. Was we so fair about the way we did it? I don't think so. We stole this land from the Indians! So who are we to complain when others want a better life for their families?
I know that there is a lot of poverty in neighboring Hispanic countries. I would like to know the extent of the poverty and is this the reason so many Hispanics choose to come to the U.S.

Answer:
you are absolutely right. Not only should all of Latin America come here, but half of Africa. When we have a billion people here, unskilled and uneducated, we can raise taxes to 90% so our entitlements programs don't fail and we all can be equally poor.
Visited in Mexico, Only two Classes in Mexico, Rich and
Corrupt, and the Poor who are easily Bribed.
It depends on what part. Regardless of the situation there, this does not change the fact that our current immigration situation is a nightmare. I happen to live on the U.S./Mexico border and have so many stories I could tell you of first hand experience.

Also, they want a better life, but at whose expense? Americans who have traditionally filled low wage jobs are now being cast aside in favor of illegals. You call that fair?
dirty and poor living conditions.
I think that's sort of like asking "What is life like in the U.S.?" There's no one answer; every area is different, and every person's experience is different.

Perhaps a better question is "Why do so many Hispanic people want to come to the U.S.?" If that's what you want to know, then I'd certainly say that the standard of living there is generally far lower than that in the U.S. People see something better, and they want it; that's human nature, and the same reason that our own ancestors came to the U.S. I'm with you in the reasoning that immigrants stole this country from the Native Americans/First Peoples; however, most people have a great deal of difficulty seeing past their own pocketbooks, and their own points of view, and conveniently ignore the fact that their own forebears were once immigrants, and NOT legal ones, by the standards of the existing inhabitants.

Like they say - what goes around, comes around.
First of all you should not say that you think that most American opinions are negative on this subject becaue they certainly are not and you have no basis to say that unless you believe what you see on sites like this. Mexico has a middle class and there are people who live well and attend schools and universities. Some of the problem with poverty is that many families do not have a tradition of education and do not take advantage of the chances in Mexico to get out of the poverty cycle. Even in the US if you do not attend school and start having kids in your teens your chances of accomplishing much is not good. Negative views in the US come from people with no education, no job skills and no language skills illegally come to the US to seek social benefits. Hispanics who have legally immigrated to the US over decades have roles in US society no different than other nationalities and are community and family oriented people. The illegals are not. And they bring gang, drug and violence problems with them. They are not coming here to make that interview at General Motors or assimilate into the US job market, they are coming for a better level of life based on welfare benefits. Latin America and South America are great places to live if you have an education and skills. I think I could be happy living in Mexico or Brazil or Chile but I know before I would be allowed to live there I would have to go legally and have language skills. The rules for immigration to Mexico and most South American countries is much stricter than it is in the US. In Mexico, Americans cannot own property and if you are there to work you will get booted out pretty quickly. Mexican immigration authorities are pretty strict on people coming in and in general the central government sees no problem with exporting poor people to the US as that has a positive impact on the Mexican economy.
I lived in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico back in the mid 80's and have visited many times since.

I found living in Mexico much like camping out.

There was no hot water, nor toilet seats.

You just sat down on the open bowl.

Much of the city looks like an earthquake hit and nobody rebuilt.

Walls are crumbling and windows are broken everywhere.

Everyday you would go out and buy some freshly made tortillas, and vendors would travel up and down the street all day long, some selling brooms, others selling drinking water.

There were some very strange looking salamanders that would crawl on the walls, and some iguanas would make a chirping sound from the outside walls.

There were smells everywhere in the air, either from folks burning their trash or from people cooking their food.

I'll never forget the little pigs that roamed freely in the streets eating up people's garbage that they'd just throw to the streets.

It was a simple life but also a very hard life.

Women gathered in the kitchen preparing the meals and men went off to play soccer & then to drink beer afterwards.

People would send the clothes out to someone, usually a young teenaged girl, for her to do their laundry by hand, and would return the clothes all clean and folded.

I hope this helps you to have an understanding what life is like in Mexico.

.
Hot and desert , full of oil and resources .
We didn't steal any land , We won it in a war . It happens all over the world .
South of our border are rich countries , but their people are too lazy to protest to their country to do something for their people .
They would come and take what America has done for the people here for the last 250 yr.
Do you think that's right to break into someones home and steal what they have earned all their lives ?
US Vete What you described is just what America will look like when the illegals take over and they are expecting to do that soom , if you believe LaRaza
Don't care
Life is great here in the USA and will bet better when the WALL is built
The strong survive and adapt or die
Let Nature take it course
Sorry but how is that our problem? If conditions are bad in Mexico THEY should fix it, NOT US!

The illegal aliens are criminals for being here since they are breaking our laws. THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO BE HERE! Our ancestors came for a better life but they came LEGALLY! What part of ILLEGAL don't you understand?

Don't pull out the race card on this. Illegal immigration has nothing to do with race. It is about our laws! AMNESTY IS WRONG AND WILL BANKRUPT AMERICA!
